The bathrooms and kitchen tend to be messy and dirty most of the time, I suppose it's the guests who keep making them that way. Maybe do something e.g. rules, posters, more frequent cleaning to condition the guests to be more considerate about the space they're using. Since it's common space, I won't feel comfortable when it's dirty

This hotel is poorly managd. We had booked and paid for two nights and on our second day they already changed our beds as I'd we had checked out. Once they found out their mistake they did not apologise. The beds are not numbered so that is probably the cause of this bad service but nevertheless it is a result of poor management.

Fine place. Bathrooms were rather gross. Lots of ppl going in and out. All that was left when I arrived was a mixed dorm and unfortunately that included a couple who just needed to sleep in the same bed. Fine for how much it cost and I was able to rent a sleeping bag for camping. I just stayed one night, I don't think I'd do more than a couple nights here.

Very cheap hostel but excellent for the price. Nice common room area with large TV and sofas. Bathrooms were average, and no drawers or lockerd provided in room for your valuables. Only stayed there one night but would be happy to return. FFree wifi.

Excellent location. Let down by the bathrooms (small, unclean and very poor ventilation with only one portable fan). Also horrible ventilation in the rooms because there are no windows. Woke up every night sweating and feeling very claustrophobic in the small, humid box .

- There is an outdoor area outside the room we stayed in. All three nights we stayed there, people were excessively loud with no regard for the people trying to get some sleep. There is a sign telling people to be quiet past 11pm but no one there to monitor the area. Stricter regulation or closing the area after 11 would fix the problem. - There is also no climate control. For the price, it's not expected, but a little split system air con would definitely make it a nice stay.

Friendly staff, free tea and coffee, lots of kitchen utensils, nice open common area which was quiet after 11 - vital for a decent sleep! The rooms were clean and pretty quiet at night. Little things could make a big difference.. More fridge space, another sink in the kitchen and most definitely more power sockets in the rooms, even extension cables or something. The doors don't lock automatically which was a bit of a concern as there are no lockers in the room to lock up valuables.

The room we were staying in (4 bed mixed dorm) was very close to the common area, so it was difficult get to sleep because of the loud noise from people drinking and shouting. The staff were friendly and helpful however.

Not too far from the shopping street and the waterfront, nice kitchen with all you might need to cook if you're having a meal inside the hostel. Free wifi provided. It can get a little bit noisy if you want to go to sleep early, as some rooms are next to the dining room.

Good lounge area with sofas and a tv, with free wifi as well. Good well-stocked kitchen. The 6 bed form room was clean, but there was no-where for you to lock your bag in the room and very little floor space. Apart from that, I had a pleasant stay

Great central meeting space with a quality DVD and book collection. Blindfold recommended for morning sunlight in the rooms

Good clean and tidy Hostel. Little bit out of the way for Hobart but still very central. Good atmosphere and great fun was had over the New Years celbrations.

First of all never take four or six bedded rooms in this hostel. They have no windows nor any other ventilation. Packed like sardines you pay more and get almost no sleep.
