Great location. A very short tram ride to get anywhere. Right next to airport bus stop. Within walking distance to city center. Felt very safe. Locked doors free lockers. Trusted the staff a lot. Free advice and towels and maps and shopping maps. Left our barcelona book there. But..No toilet paper. Luckily we were the only people there other wise the one shower and bathroom would have been a bummer. The one thing is a family lives here. Including a baby. Not a problem for us but just a heads up.

The one thing that would have helped my stay would have been a clearer sign outside the hostel, rather than just the name on the buzzer beside the door. Or at least make a plate for the buzzer that incorporates colors or a logo or something a little more eye catching.

One of the bathrooms had just water extremely hot and if you opened the cold water, the water tap is what opened (weird). The other bathroom didn't have lock for the shower, just for the toilet, so you have little privacy. Despite these problems, it was a good time there. It is good for spend a couple days.

The private room was great, very spacious (even an extra bed!) and we had our own balcony. But it was very loud due to a bigger street and an intersection right in front of the house. So nothing for a couple that wants a quiet escape, but then again, you should probably also not come to Barcelona for that. The couples part of the hostel, apart from the street, is very quiet though. No drunk heads or other party people. And great value for money! I would definitely stay at Trauko's again.

Ótimo locar para se hospedar, muito bem localizado. O atendimento foi excelente, muito atencioso. O ambiente é agradável e muito limpo.

The staff was very attentive and the space (bedroom, kitchen, common room) was very comfortable. My one complaint was that the apartment was not kept as clean as I would've liked- smelly dish rag in the kitchen for several days and a little leaky toilet water on the floor in the bathroom. The bedroom was perfectly clean, however. These were only very minor issues and our overall experience was excellent. I would recommend labeling the door/buzzer a little more clearly.

very well located right next to sagrada familia, clean spacious twin room. clean bathroom outside. there is no heating like in most of the hostels which in winter is a pain unfortunately, but then again, in most hostels you don't get heating. lovely lady at the reception.

Amazing place. Historic building, with first floor rear patio the size of a football pitch. Tall ceilings, large sitting room, lots of character. Very good value. Very nice lady in charge. Central. Good sized lockers. Comfortable Ikea mattresses.
