Please fix the ensuite bathroom door. It can even be closed properly let alone locked.

Staff was friendly, but when I asked about where was the nearest place to rent a bike, she shrugged and pointed me to the brochures. I just arrived and don't even have a map, how am I supposed to find out? At least spare 2 mins to help, will it kill just to help? Dorms were clean, but shower and toilet were extremely small and dirty. I won't recommend staying here for even a night.

The hostel is centrally located and the rooms very much as described in the previous reviews.Only one charging point for the 8 beds altogether which was a bit difficult to manage.Broken lockers was another concern for us.

I was a little bit disapointed not to be able to leave my bag at the hostel the day I was leaving so I had to bring it with me the all day for queen's day. Not very handy... The lockers are a good idea but not functional.

Worst hostel I have ever been to. The receptionist had a terrible attitude and tried to over charge us by 20 euro. The hostel didn't even have wifi passed the 2nd floor, but you still had to pay for it if you wanted it on those floors. It was very tiny and the shower was gross. The location was great, but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed in the 5th floor and we had to climb up our luggage by stairs (there are no elevator, but I think it's an Amsterdam trouble). The staff was rude and very impolite. No breakfast. However, the bar downstairs is fine and the location is perfect!

There are some rooms, where sleeping was impossible because of the noise coming from outside. But in those, which do not face the street, was pretty quiet. We had some problems with the light and hot water while showering: the water suddenly changed to cold and didn't go away, flooding the whole bathroom. The light switched on and off unexpectedly. The hairdryer in the room was not working, and there were no any available on the reception. Wi-fi is 2 euros per hour. In general, it is ok hostel.

Major problem was WIFI. It's intolerable that it cost and is very expensive (between 2e = 20 min - 15e= 10h). It's 2013 and internet should be part of infastructure. Almost everywhere else the wifi is free or the charge is something like 1e per day. Not so many toilets or showers. Not so good smells all around. If you want to be in the city center then the location is as good as it gets. So alltogether: good place for those spending holiday and party, not very good if you need to do work.

charging for Wi-Fi, there was no chance to leave stuffs for a couple of hours in hostel after check-out. Maybe it depends on room, but the one I stayed was very dirty and full of hears everywhere. Perfect location, note so nice personal and dirty though.

Fresh sheets in the room, but the blankets had some stains; just ignore the fact. The stairs are kind of scary to go up/ down because they are extremely steep. Apart from that, staff very friendly and helpful, and the location couldn't have been better. Certainly recommendable!

The hostel is okay if you don't consider to stay there for a longer time. Price for one night is excellent. There was a strange smell in the hallway and the room smelled even worse and you couldn't open the window wide open, but it was okay...

The staff is like the best I had seem in all my life, they are kind, very helpfull and they work sooooooo much and so fast, watching them is like another tourist attraction! Miguele is a genius!!! The place is ok, but its sooo cheap for staying in the center of Amsterdam. We were surprise for the cleanliness, because the reviews from tripadvisor were soo negative in that regard. Free towels, hot showers 24 hs.
