the worst place i have ever stayed!not only they don't clean the rooms and they overcharge for this awful place ,but they also have the nerve to be roude and ask u immediately for money ,like u are not going to pay them!!!

The hostel is in a GREAT location. It's near all of the best tourist attractions. The staff is ok, they seem to be annoyed by some of the hostel guest. The cleanliness of the building could be A LOT better. My room had old cigarette ashes on the window panes that needed to be clean and it seems as though the whole building needs to be refurbished. The atmosphere is also a little strange. One good thing is there is a 24-hour desk attendant and the bar stays open all night.

Severely average, but that's what you need sometimes. Felt secure within the hostel, and the staff were lovely. Radiators worked a bit too well, hardly a complaint though. A lot of mouldy looking stuff on the ceiling of the shower (ensuite for an 8 man dorm), but plenty of hot water. Not sure of the conditions in the shared shower facilities. Toilets were clean in the mornings, but only then. There's a place called WC about 10 mins walk away, €1 to use their super-clean toilets. Not all bad.

The hostel wasn't very clean, secure and spacious, but the location is absolutely perfect, just behind warmoestraat at 100 mt from Baba and Grasshopper and 3 minutes walk from dam square. The receptionist we met (Michele) was very nice and helpful. The price was good (14 € per night in the first days of January). So I recommend Travel hostel if you are young and you don't mind a little dust on the floor or a not very clean bathroom.

Bathroom is disgusting!

the location is excellent & very easy to find. the place needs some decoration its quite shabby. the room was a 4 bed dorm it was very small but had a tv & sink which helped.i saw a mouse in my room,better than a rat i suppose.overall i would probably stay here again, due to the excellent location..in the red light district & close to train station..

The bathroom was terrible, the smell was unbelivable. There was noise the whole night long, the receptionist was very bad-mannered and it was too expensive for what they gave.

The sheets reek of cigarettes and smoke, the hallways reeked of vomiting. Dirty bathrooms, lockers full of rubbish. Really horrible.

I had no problems at this hostel, it was very good for the price. Also there were bathrooms and TV's in the rooms. I would stay here again.

staff at counter was a bit rude at 1st, then was alright. no wifi/free internet access

Really Nice, No mice in the rooms, the location in excellent near the central station, and Red light District !!! and many Coffee Shops. The staff very bad, all the time in a bad mood, only the Italian, is't a really nice guy. Tip for the staff: smoke more weed.

If you are easy going and down-to-earth person, you will enjoy this hostel. The staff is super nice and fun, they were helpful with our questions about the city and really friendly. The location is excellent, right in the centre near the railway station. The room and other facilities were not the cleanest possible, but what can you expect with these prices? Go to bloody Hilton, if you want luxury, but for character, great laughs and good time, choose this hostel :)

location is really excellent, but it is very unclean hostel... 2nd floor is awfull , showers with no light inside. 5nd floor is ok

The room it was the worse

We had a mouse in our room and nothing has been done against it. The toilets looked bad. I am allergic on mites and I had a lot of problems in the room. Sneezed the whole time. Location is cool. Near central station and near red light district.

The bathroom was very disgusting and the bulting wad 1 very smalls tairs for more that 4 floor without elevator so with big bag is very difficlt. One recptioniste woman was all the time to bad mood, don't help, don't open the door, not commercial. Don't go in this place...

The location is really good but the staff was really unkind, the toillets was very dirty, there is not luggage and the Internet is expensive! the worst hostel I´ve ever been

No Internet and wifi for free. No locker for free.
