Everything needed a good clean. Our room smelt like rotten eggs due to the dirty sink. Owner wasn't there when we checked in. No proper luggage storage and the front door is open all day even though no one is there. We paid for a doublebed room and got two single beds. There are many lovely places to stay in Reykjavik, unfortunatly this isn't one of them.

The room was very basic and the bathroom was a little dirty. I don't really think it was worth the money.

The impetus behind my comment is in the unfriendly and unreasonable service of the staff - when the desk is manned, which is very seldom. -I rented a car initially for 2 days, and when my plans changed and I only needed it for one day, they woudn´t refund my money for the second day. -I notified them 2+ months in advance that an extra person would be coming for a total of 3, but they did not give us a 3-person room. They just threw a fold out bed in the 2-person room so that there was very lit

Very convenient if you have to catch a early morning flybus (just across the street). It's a 10 to 15 minutes walk to the city center. Okay but depends on the weahter. Also a little bit steep but shouldn't be any problem for most people.
