Travel Joy Hostels Chelsea has balconies overlooking the Thames, near Pimlico tube station. Many Hostelworld users tell us that their favourite feature of the hostel is the welcoming atmosphere, with staff who are 'very helpful and very friendly, creating a nice atmosphere at the hostel'. One guest said, 'they really care about their guests having a good time'. The hostel has a 'wonderful Thai restaurant below' and visitors tell us that 'having the bus stop [to Central London] right in front and being walking distance to the subway made the city very accessible'. Travel Joy Hostels is a relaxed and chilled-out hostel which focuses on personal service.
We are the only London hostel overlooking the river. Were extremely centrally located between Chelsea and The Houses of Parliament.
We provide free tea/coffee/soft drinks to residents at all times, free linen/towels, free earplugs, free sweets, Wi-Fi in the entire building and free continental breakfast. There are no hidden costs.
There is bicycle dock and a 24-hour bus outside the door that goes every ten minutes to Victoria Station, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Soho, Oxford Street and Camden.
We have a Thai and European restaurant on-site as well as a tour- and theatre-tickets desk.
We have PCs in the lounge area which can be accessed for a small fee.
We also exchange at no commission and no spread. We just take the rate from xe.com. (As such, we are the best place to exchange in the UK).
Our other facilities include a postal service, card phones, a washing machine/dryer, iron/ironing board, hair dryers, on-street parking and free luggage storage.
Our large bar below the hostel is a great place to relax and socialise, with guest drink specials. You can also BBQ on our terrace or hang out in our common room. Our building offers all modern facilities and guests can feel very safe and comfortable.

I was travelling around Europe, and staying in different hostel and this was the best one.- The people who works there are very kind and helpfull; the rooms are spacious, and the common room it was great.- The breakfast was plenty and included a lot of things.- I am a candy lover, and the best part was that they always had candy to share with the guest.- I recommend this place very much, and if I go back to London, definitely I'm going to stay at The Travel Joy Hostel.-

Very nice hostel with a cool staff. Free soft drinks and the bar inside. Wifi is free for the first 10min. NThe only disadvantage were long queues to the showers sicne there are only 3 for the whoel hostel. No kitchen, however microwave and fridge available. Overall experience: good! I'd definitely recommend and stay again!

This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
PLEASE BE AWARE that our RECEPTION IS CLOSING at 12AM and opening at 7:30AM.
You will not be able to check in after that time as our reception will be closed.
But if you are not making it before midnight we will send you an email with the codes to get in.
Internet access is £1 for half an hour / £2 for one hour.
