I stayed just for 1 night, but I'll definitely come back!!! The hostel is in a quiet area, but you can reach every place with the tube or the bus. The staff is great, they gave me a lot of advices and even if it was my first trip alone I didn't felt lonely... Thanks a lot to Marine for the pepsi and the funny chat!!! The best receptionist I've ever met!!!!!!

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in the very center, this hostel was ideal! Right on the Thames river and a 24 hour bus and easily walkable from Victoria station or Pimlico station. Not the cleanest place I've stayed. Because it's situated above a bar (you don't notice the noise) it's easy to make friends at or over the filling hearty breakfast.

Very nice hostel with a cool staff. Free soft drinks and the bar inside. Wifi is free for the first 10min. NThe only disadvantage were long queues to the showers sicne there are only 3 for the whoel hostel. No kitchen, however microwave and fridge available. Overall experience: good! I'd definitely recommend and stay again!

The staff was extremely helpful and nice! The free soft drinks were also really nice! Everything in the hostel was great, loved the breakfast (free omelets and pancakes), you get WiFi for only £1/ day and it works even in your room! I felt really good there, I would recommend this place to anyone who stays in London! I will be back there for my next visit to London for sure!

Everything was very good.!! Staff, people, rooms, atmosphere, location! A relatively rich breakfast is included in the price with 3 types of cereal, omeletes, marmalades, bread, milk, coffee and juice which was also very good and saved me from spending a lot of money. Only one drawback. After 11 or 12 pm (I don't remember exactly, I'm sorry!!!) the bar and the living room at the entrance closes and there's no other place for somebody to sit during sleepless nights!! Besides, value for money!!

the staff members were nice and helpful, showing me to my room and offering me a head light to borrow to read my book. (there are not individual bed lights.) My cover and mattress were covered in hair but i was so exhausted i just put the outside bit on and went to bed. the food downstairs is good and there's a drink deal with beers. some strange locals hang out at the bar. besides the hair the bed was comfortable. bathroom covered in water. great breakfast selection in mornings.

I stayed in an 8 bed female dorm, and I felt safe and I had a lot of fun! The pub downstairs creates a nice atmosphere. I met other travelers at dinner the first night there. My only complaint is that there were a lot of older travelers there who got very angry at younger travelers when they came back to the hostel (even as early as midnight). The other women in my room were very nice, but some travelers in my friends' room got very angry at my friends for coming home late.

Travel Joy Hostel Chelsea is an affordable hostel near the Pimlico underground station. It can be a bit of a walk with all of your gear, but still doable. The pub downstairs is your first introduction to the hostel. The rooms are suitable, but be warned that the walls are thin. If your neighbors are loud, you'll hear them for sure. The ensuite bathrooms are a nice touch.

Overall the hostel is very good. The staff is very helpful and friendly and transportation to the center is good. Their free soft drink service is awesome! The only downside was that the bunk beds didn't seem very sturdy, in our room they were squeaky and you could easily feel every move of the person in the other bed.

Just stayed few hours, good value, but not the best. Staff were really friendly. In the showers sometimes the water will not come out. But overall for a night or 2 can be a good option.

Really cool place to chill out after a long day walking around London... And cool open mic night on a Friday... Can't fault it much, maybe the water pressure gets a bit low when all the showers are being used but I'm knit picking here... Awesome stay will come again...
