Thank you so much! It was the BEST hostel I've ever been to! The staff was great, always friendly and willing to help. It felt like the staff are also friends of ours... The showers and bathrooms were sooo clean all the time. The free soft and hot drinks are a cool idea (after being out all day, it was nice coming back to free juice), the breakfast is far better and richer than what you usually get in hostels. The bar is cool, and doesn't disturb those who go to sleep early... Thanks! BatShahar

No problems with this hostel, easy enough to get around London while staying here. The staff were definitely helpful with any questions I had. Free breakfast was exceptional!

Great location, love the fact that one can sit outside. Free soft drinks and ice cold water fountains. Free salsa lessons on wednesdays, superb breakfast, friendly staff. Will stay there again :-)

I really lucked into finding this hostel. It seems out of the way on a map, but it's right along the route for the number 24 bus, which goes to a number of London's landmarks. The showers have good water pressure, and the rooms were tidy. Though not spacious, the rooms weren't the smallest I've been in!

It is a great place with probably the best hostel breakfast I've ever had, friendly staff and a pleasant location next to the Thames and within walking distance of Big Ben. I had a good night's sleep. The only room for improvement for me was the lack of unlimited free wifi and the impossibility of sitting on a lower bunk.

Staff were great very helpfully and looked after us very well. Didn't spend much time in the hostel except to watch the rugby and sleeping but the atmosphere was great for the rugby.

Place is great! Helpful staff, good location, there's a bar underneath so right there the major box is ticked. So close to the bus stop to the centre of London you could throw your tasty bowl of nasi goring right from your table and hit that sucker! Food and beers are cheep, breakfast is free, beds are like a warm hug from your granny! Get amongst it!

I really liked the hostel and the staff at Travel Joy. I Stayed there for 4 nights over a week period and got to know the staff a little. Breakfast was excellent, and my first room was great with a balcony and small number of people in the room. The other rooms are not as spectacular, but still good. There was a mix up during my stay, and the staff were quick to not only ensure I had accommodation but also provided me with a complimentary meal and drink. Breakfast was also good for a hostel

Absolutely great place! Especially to wind down. The rooms were really clean, the free soft drinks and breakfast was amazing, the staff was super helpful. Hats off to the manager from Miami (who's name I don't remember), really helpful and accommodating. Only downside was the atmosphere was not the best for meeting other travelers, and its a little walk from the Pimlico underground station. The place was like a hotel with dorms and lower price! Will stay again for sure

Would stay here again. Good location for getting around London.

The hostel offered dvd services and the staff were very helpful. It was a great place to stay for young people who wanted to socialize and meet other people. It got very loud at night, but it didn't really bother me. :) After all, it is a youth hostel and people are up late. The breakfast was good too!

A very nice hostel with a pub on the street floor with people playing guitar, free non-alcoholic driinks and thailand cuisine and also a nice terrace outside the street. The pub attendants are also from different places and speak different languages. The only complaints would be the behaviour of some mates there who don't let others sleep and the lack of a kitchen. There is the bus stop just in front of the hostel and it takes you to Victoria Station, the Parliament , Trafalgar Square and Candem.

Friendly staff, great free stuff (soft drinks, towels, sweets, ear plugs), decent bar, more than adequate breakfast (cereal, toast, boiled eggs, yoghurt, hot drinks, juice, omelettes to order. A bit of a distance from the tube but good bus that takes you straight into central London. Beds slightly uncomfortable but forgivably. Ludicrously cheap on some week nights!

Facilities are good although the location is not great (it is about 10 minutes walk to a tub and doesn't have many restaurants/shops/bars nearby). Wifi is free for the first 30 minutes which must be used consecutively after that you must pay per hour. Breakfast is good and includes the option of fresh ommlettes.

Overall not a bad place. Free soft drinks were a nice touch. The bedding was a little bit iffy but wasn't horrible. The staff were typically helpful. The shower in our mixed 8bed ensure was scaldingly hot which was pretty awful but I heard the common ones weren't so bad. The pub downstairs is nice and had a great patio. Loved the patio out of our room. Wifi is free for 10 mins then a pound a day. Not that bad.

This hostel is in a nice location, outside the madness of central London, but definitely within walking distance of the center, and a bus stops at the front door and covers most attractions. There is a certain lack of toilets and showers, particularly during the morning ''rush''. The bar downstairs has decent discounts and really good Thai food.

Reception desk and common room was somewhat cramped and set up more like a restaurant with table and chairs and a few older leather couches. The room we stayed in was quite small for five bunk beds and not much space to move around. There were lockers inside the room and several in the hallway but again not space to manuever. The lockers had sagging shelves but fortunately our our group of three used two tiered locker together for added security. No airconditioning in sleep rooms.
