A decent place to stay, and I had a great time cos I got upgraded to a private room with English TV - yey! The staff are really helpful but no-one speaks English so if your Mandarin isn't so good you might struggle. It's right in the centre of the town, lots of eating options nearby and staff helped me book the next stage of my trip. I'd stay here again - actually I tried to but they were full!

I really enjoyed talking to the locals manning the front counter. They are very warm, friendly and helpful, really helping me with my itenery and logistics. =) The hostel is also 3-4 min walk to the night market and streets of shops, which makes it convenient to walk around since public transport/bus only comes once an hour . Convenient Central location and friendly staff! The room also has basic cleanliness.

Excellent location right across from the main train station and bus stations and the staff were quite friendly. My main complaint, though, would be that the beds were hard as rocks. I realize this is fairly common in Asia, but it doesn't make it any easier to sleep.
