We had to do a self check in which was a bit weird and no staff was there to give us any information about the city or facilities. Our air conditioner didn't work so we were dying of heat every night during our stay. The hostel is also extremely far from the city (about an hour with public transport). Definitely would not recommend this place

I still don't get the self check in, haven't seen the staff the entire time (7 days), the toilet wasn't working properly, there was a power outage that would luck us in for an entire night and no way to reach anyone, no one came cleaning our room... apart from that, it's a nice hostel with air conditioning, a few restaurants nearby, far from the city but quiet enough.. if you are luckier than us maybe your stay will be better so definitely one to try.

The place is very very far from Rome or even any way to get into Rome. You have to walk about 30 minutes to the metro station which then takes another 15 minutes to get into Rome. There is nothing really around the hostel, you have to walk a bit to get to any restaurants. We didn't see any member of the staff once, but they left detailed instructions for us. The building requires many different keys to get in, annoying. Especially when we first arrived and didn't have any of them...
