Travella Lodge is a home away from home, a Home STAY, will be met with two young and friendly staff, serenly located in a Ghanaian family home setting if you love to experience a Ghanain family acclaimed hospitality. You have absolute independence . The rooms are equipped with modern facilities and fully airconditioned ideal for individual, small group or a family on holiday for relaxation.
Travella Lodge, a family lodge, started with two rooms in 2002 and in 2005 increased to five rooms for few visitors who want to lodge with a Ghanaian family for short periods at minimum cost and with a complete indepence for self adventure or leisure or Business trip, at the same time enjoying the luxury of some of the finest hotels at a minimum cost.
Ghana is a tropical country. The South Western part is located within the warm wet forest zone similar to the Amazon. The capital is Accra. The rains last from April to June. Generally temperatures are between 21 - 32C. The rest of the year is hot and dry.

Latest Review
A great stay. While it's a bit far from the city center, there's cheap transportation to get you where you want to go at all times of the day. Other hostels are much pricier, and claim to be downtown, but Accra is a real city and if you want to see more than one neighborhood you'll be hopping in taxis anyhow. The facilities are very nice. There's hot water, a/c, and a plethora of ghanaian TV channels. The family who lives in the compound is very helpful and will serve you great breakfasts.
