Traveller's Cave Pension was well worth the extra $10 or so we spent each relative to the prices of other available twin rooms. The room was beautiful, semi-cave, warm, nicely decorated with a big beautiful bathroom. The upstairs terrace has a beautiful view over Goreme and the provided buffet breakfast was delicious and essentially all you can eat! The staff were very helpful and overall we had a great time. Definitely doesn't have a 'hostel' vibe though so if that's what you want go elsewhere.

Fantastic place to stay in Göreme. We arrived at around 8am on an overnight bus from pamukkale and they still had our room ready and offered us breakfast even though we hadn't stayed the night before. Our room was a private double which was very comfortable and had an excellent shower. Staff were very helpful for tours and their recommendation on the balloon ride was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Requested airport pick up but they got the date wrong so didn't send anyone. Four phone calls later with each one saying yes, yes they're coming we ended up getting a taxi (which they paid for) but then asked us to pay for the shuttle we didn't have (so they could recoup some of the money!). It cost me that much in phone calls - guy who made the mistake didn't talk to us for the rest of our stay! Aside from the above the pension was clean, ideally located & our 'cave' room near on perfect!

Hostel staff treated us like friends. The pension is located a very short stroll from the heart of Goreme, close to eating out, etc. Hotel staff book tours etc. and you are picked up from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious.

Stayed in a double bed cave room, which was fantastic and topped off my a spa bath with jets and nice hot water. The staff can organise you tours, although we ended up going for a hot air balloon ride with Butterfly Balloons (highly recommend) over their recommended company. They also serve lunch and dinner for a moderate fee, which isn't gourmet but nice enough. Not the most social of hostels, but for a group or a couple it is value for money. Also right near by Top Deck Restaurant (eat there!)

The cave rooms are amazing and the view from the terrace is lovely. Travel agencies in Goreme are required to offer tours at the same regulated price, so you can often get a better deal if you book in another town before arrival.

The location is good, just 5mins walk to the downtown. They offered the free pick-up service when we arrived the bus station, so we dont have to take the luggage to climb up the hill. although there was a little mistake when they reserved day tour for us,the staff tried his best to solve and help us. The staff are definitely helpful and kind. the place made us feel like home. It was perfect except the food they provided in dinner time. (HAHA) :)

Good hotel with. Great room helpful staff and awesome breakfast. Did the Rose Valley sunset tour on the first day -a great introduction to the valley. Also booked the Ilhara Valley tour through the hotel which was a huge disapointment (a 4km walk through the valley turned out to be Just a lunch stop) and with a very average guide. The Ilhara Valley was one of the places that I wanted to see in Cappadoccia and the staff didn't have good enough English to understand or address my issues

Staff were great, and room was very cool. The terrace had a great view, so breakfast and tea in the mornings was a great experience.

This is a very cute and welcoming hotel. We were there during winter time, so it was very cold. We were glad to arrive in our room...super warm, with heated tiles in the bathroom. One of the best hotels we encounter during our stay in Turkey. The staff is very sweet and helpful.

My friends and I are studying abroad in Ankara and this was our favorite hostel in all of Turkey!!! We were the only ones in the hostel (in December) but we got DELICIOUS huge Turkish breakfasts cooked just for us which were free. The staff were EXTREMELY polite and helpful - they gave us maps and organized tours and even a private driver to the underground city. Beautiful building and our private triple room was spotless, warm, and cozy. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone I know!
