After visiting many European cities, relaxing at Traveller's Haven in scenic Bled was a welcome relief. We arrived at Bled without a plan of do, within a few quick minutes the hostel staff had given us a weeks worth of ideas. We enjoyed biking around the lake with the hostel's complementary bikes. It's also, a plus that the hostel has a well equipped kitchen and is located across the street from the grocery store. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay at Traveller's Haven.

Was really impressed by the heated floors. Karmen who runs the hostel was also so helpful!

Being off-season, we had the entire hostel to ourselves! The common area (TV room and kitchen) felt more like that of a classy BnB rather than that of a hostel - very well-furnished and very clean! The lady at the reception was also very helpful, recommending places to eat. The free bike rental is also fantastic, allowing us to go around Lake Bled easily! No breakfast but it can be easily gotten at the Mercator across the road. Free laundry as well (but we didn't get to use it)!

Really helpful hostel staff - she tried her very best to organise activities for me in the awkward time between summer activities finishing and winter ones starting. Ear at the local restaurant really near by just down the hill - really cheap excellent local food but beware of HUGE portions!

I really can hardly remember any other place that would so much exceed my expectations (both Bled as a place and the hostel itself as well). Highly recommended :-) Vlado B, 16nov11 7:30

Staying here for us was almost a holiday in itself. Large living room with free internet, plenty of dvd's, pay tv, comfy lounges, outdoor area, large kitchen. Rooms & bathroom are nice and clean. Hostel is an easy walk to the lake and shops, staff are very friendly....great place to stay!

Spotless hostel, a few minutes from the bus station and the lake. Looks more like a B&B than a hostel, nice furniture, etc. Free bikes and laundry facilities. Supermarket across the road and excellent kitchen for cooking. Living room small but nice. Wifi didn't reach upstairs which was annoying and the showers were cubicles with only curtains for privacy. Doors would be nice, as would a hook for your clothes/towel.

Brilliant hostel in an amazing location, only a short walk from the main part of town (bus station etc). The hostel felt really homely. As we visited this area in low season, you could have mistook the common room area for a holiday home. Great setup with a big TV, DVD player, and a computer to use the internet free of charge. Sadly the wi-fi did not stretch too our room. Room was faultless. Staff at the hostel went out of their way to welcome us. Highly recommend.

A fantastic hostel, one of the best I've ever stayed at. Very comfortable beds, nice furnishings so it feels homely, excellent kitchen - can make proper meals, great showers with endless hot water, big tv with huge dvd collection, plenty of toilets and showers so you don't have to wait for long and the location is very handy to the bus station, cafes and sights. Anja is amazing - she goes well out of her way to help. Wish I could take this hostel with me throughout the rest of europe!

This place was amazing. Free bike rental, a block from the lake, the staff was super helpful in answering all of our questions. Supermarket across the road. Clean hostel and well taken care of.

Good hostel located near all the bits that you would want to be near and with all the stuff you'd expect from such a well regarded hostel.

Its a beautiful, quiet place near the Lake. Everything is clean and comfortable. The lady behind the counter is a bit rough around the edges, and is gone for a good portion of the afternoon. Other than that, its a perfect place to stay

Loved my stay! Friendly, helpful staff. Such a cosy place, felt like I was staying in a house with friends. Spent my first rainy & cold day in Bled in the common room with most of the other guests sharing dinner, wine, music & good conversation. The hostel has everything you want: free laundry, free bicycle hire, complete kitchen, free computer & wifi, clean rooms & bathrooms. I can't recommend this hostel highly enough!

Wonderful location and great communal atmosphere. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nice big, well equiped kitchen and lounge room. Security in the rooms could be better (no lockers only small safes which are a little dodgy) but other than that I would most definitely recommended this hostel to others. Bled is an amazing place.

I cannot fault the hostel in anyway, So very clean, lovely staff, great location, kitchen is perfect, a little supermarket across the road. But I feel the need to mention the dog from next door, which barks. The owners don't in any way try & keep it quiet. The first night it was really bad & the second it wasn't so bad ...
