Had an amazing time at Travellers Haven, feels like being in a big family home instead of a hostel. Great service from the staff, clean rooms and a great location.
Brilliant hostel, only a couple of minutes walk to the lake, supermarket across the road! Very friendly staff, gave us loads of tips on walking up to Vintgar Gorge, Canyoning, etc. My favourite hostel from the 10 or so we stayed at during interrailing.
The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Fantastic equipped kitchen and communal areas, gave a great friendly hostel atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Although no large lockers in the rooms we didn't feel we needed them. Although it advertises it has it's own bikes to borrow, we still had to pay €10 per day to hire them from else ware since there were only two 'in operational use' and even those we didn't trust at all!
"Free Bikes" were all broken. Flies is the kitchen.

Excellent location- right next to the bus station, the lake and a supermarket. I loved the free bicycles but you have to wake up early to get a good one. The staff were amazing and will give you advice about which attractions to see and how to get there. My only problem was that the showers were a bit smelly, but that might just be due to the humid weather and not the staff's fault.
I didn't love this place. Not a bad location, decent wifi. The room had too many beds in it for the size so there was no where to put your stuff or walk. Not enough outlets in the room. Nice kitchen, bathrooms but not the cleanest. The staff were nice but lots of times not there when you needed them. Free laundry was a bonus but there was only one machine working. Atmosphere meh.
Overall consider within expectation accept the cleanliness is below satisfaction
Very nice hostel! Staff are so friendly and very helpful.
Really nice hostel in a fantastic location, the rule of no shoes in the building is really strange and it seemed that pretty much all of the bikes were broken.
My three issues were: 1) A lot of flies in the hostel 2) The shower water did not drain and you would inevitably end up stood in a pool of water 3) The wifi was pretty useless However, the staff were thoroughly helpful and friendly and the location of the hostel is perfect for those who wish to visit the lake (Plus the free bikes are a massive bonus!)

Lake bled is a fantastic place to go and travellers haven was a fantastic place to stay. Mirjam, the owner i think, told us about all the things we could do and which were the cheapest, she even got us a deal on the row boats which i would recommend going on. Otherwise the hostel is great, you will meet loads of other travellers here and everybody was generally really friendly. Also located opposite the supermarket(very handy) and a really short walk to the lake.
I have visited this hostel before in the off season and loved it. However this time the kitchen was always covered in crumbs and just generally a little dirty. Two of the showers couldn't be hung up which is a shame but manageable. The location was however very good.
Travellers Haven was is in a good location with a big kitchen to cook, and with enough toilets and showers for the whole hostel, they have a washing machine and tumble dryer. Some of the bikes they provide are broken so we had to get up early to get the good ones and the room could have done with air-con, but apart from that the room has no faults. The rooms we're big enough and the beds we're comfy.
Good hostel in a great location and respectful of noise. Nice to have use of bikes for cycling around the lake. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Bathrooms could be in better repair and cleaner e.g. soap needed in dispensers, shower head holders broken.
I stayed at Traveller's Haven for two nights. The manager Urša had the sweetest smile that made me feel welcome at once. She was very helpful the whole time regarding activities around Bled and my transportation inquiries. Also, she helped a Taiwanese lady with her heavy luggage and even drove her to the bus station to catch a night bus. Two thumbs up for Urša! ;)
Loved the Traveller's Haven, definitely up there with one of our favourite hostels. The receptionist was very polite and extremely helpful giving us advise on activities and the general running of the hostel. The mixed dorm was modern with plugs and lights by each beds, only criticism would be larger lockers.
Was about a 40 minute walk with our bags from bled lesce, would definitely recommend getting the bus as it only cost €1,30. It is a less than 5 minute walk from the bus station in bled. Unfortunately, wifi is not picked up on the top floor, but elsewhere is fine. Free bikes were a bonus. Only issue was that there were a LOT of flies in kitchen and common room. Also, no lockers in room, just a microwave-sized safe per person. Staff were friendly and helpful and I would stay there again.
Unfortunately they were double booked when we arrived, but they instantly upgraded us to an ensuite apartment at no extra cost. Great location, and a good sized hostel for the area. Staff were extremely kind and helpful.
