Very good location (walking distance to La Rambla and the beaches). Very nice and helpful owners :) No luxuries (since this is a hostel) but not expensive, clean and tidy :)

Great location; good wifi; helpful and friendly staff. Self-contained flat up 91 steps (not the one pictured on website) A little noisy at night due to central location near Tapas bars and from neighbouring flats, but excellent for anyone wanting no frills accommodation central to metro and waterfront. Renovation on exterior of building no problem at all. Installation of a smoke detector would add to sense of security - considering access.

the floors was very dirty, you could not walk without socks or shoes on , the tv was not working nor the washingmaschine, and the electricity in the kitchen was really bad we had to remowe the waterheater every time we made coffe and anything else so sometimes we had no hot water and finally we had no music, they could put a radio in the flat at least as the tv was not working......and we only had one set of keys made things difficult

We were in a group of six and they split us up. We had only booked here so that we could all be together. The workers were very rude the whole time we stayed. I would never stay here again.

We've had a great stay at Barcelona and Travellers Flat. The apartment is very nice and comfortable, near the city center and Barcelonetta. It is also near metro station. Javier and Paula were really friendly and helpful. We would totally recommend it!

Very kind host/hostess in a spacious room with good location. The flat was provided with various kinds of leaflets and maps with kind explanations which helped me to choose where to go in BCN during 6days of stay in the city. We could walk to most of the tourist spots from Barceloneta shore side to Parc Guell and Gaudi's archtectures. The only shortcome was that the toilet was at the balcony and the basin and shower in a separate place. I booked a double bedroom but was given a room enough for 3

beautiful, beautiful place. i dreamt of living in a european flat, and this one was perfect. the high ceilings, the old built, the spacious terrace area where you could sit outside and have breakfast with the wonderful spanish weather; it was all an absolute dream! i would definitely stay here when i'm in barcelona again.

We had a separate flat at the end of the March 2013. And I should confirm that I never regret that we decided to stay there during our trip to Barcelona. First of all, the owners, Javier and Paula, are very honest and hospitable. They gave us detailed instruction how to reach a flat. Moreover, they described all interesting places to visit and answered a thousand of questions. Thank you! The flat has everything included: wi-fi, kitchen with fridge, towels, washing machine. I can just advise!

Will def come back; so much for such a low price!J&P were amazing in working w/ us when hubby&i were delayed 3 days in arrival plus were so helpful in suggesting things to do& gave great directions to get there. Locations were central&w/i walking distance of many major attractions as well as close to metro stops. The hostel is a few different fantastic flats with tons of amenities-wi-fi, hair dryer, full kitchen, laundry facilities. Stay here if u go to BCN for quiet, spacious flats& great staff!

Good value for money! This flat is very nice. We were a family, we had 2 bedrooms, kitchen, toilet/bath, livingroom, just for us. Walking distance to the old part of the city. Very nice roof terrace.

Great place, Paula and Javier were very helpful. Clean, walking distance to everything and very good Internet. Only downside is that the walls were paper thin and the neighbours have constant all nighters so if ur staying here don't expect to sleep too much, also the inclusion of a small tv would improve the apartment greatly.

This hostel is not an hostel because when you book a private double room with bathroom they send you in a different building respect the hostel. The mansion was horrible , so old and so dirty and the flat was at the 4th floor without elevator. The apartament instead, is good, because is big enough with a small kithchen and a nice bedroom. The bathroom, like the rest, was clean except the shower with some limestone. The strengths of this flat are the excellent position and the low cost.

We had a very nice stay. Everything was clean and the location was great. We were given maps and tons of tips and information about where to go and how to get there. The flat they had us go to was different than the one we were e mailed in our confirmation, so be sure to respond when they ask you for more information. It was really great deal and I would absolutly recommend this hostel.
