This is an apartment rather than a hostel - but it's perfect for non-party goers like myself! It's located 5 minutes from Corvin Negyed station (ignore the directions on hostelworld - they are confusing!) and within walking distance of all the sights. The apartment is very clean and superb value for money. Sandor is a wonderful host and will give you lots of tips and recommendations of things to do and see so you can plan your stay. I'd definitely recommend this place! Thanks Sandor!

Sandor was great! He gave us thorough information about Budapest and advice on what we should see aftr picking us up from the bus station for free! He was always telling us to ask if we needed anything and upgraded us to a better room because it was empty. The location was excellent.. Many attractions are within walking distance and the main tram is right on that road linking you to all metro lines. We would definitely stay here again!

everything is just great, i definitely will stay there again next time. ps: (there is a little smelly in the room)

We highly recomend this hostel. Sandor was very very kind and gave us lots of information, he seemed to know everything that was going on in Budapest at the moment. The appartment was big and clean and had a well equiped kitchen. The only week point was the bed.

Sandor is a very nice and reliable person. He even tok his time to write a list in relation where to go and what to see in Budapest. He also offered night clubs and sat down with me to show me a Budapest tourist map and marked the main sightseeing point in the whole map for me. Later on he gave me that map to keep it for good. I had a pleasant time there. I felt safe the house was quiet and in excellent location.

Very nice location and good nice rooms. Good area too hangout with other guests in the small lounge area. The owner Sándor was one of the most helpful and nicest people I've ever met, kind regards Johan from Sweden

I had only a great experience staying at Travellers Home Hostel. Sandor was very helpful and warm. The hostel was located exactly in the city centre. When you stepped out of the hostel, you will find great pubs, sightseeings, and restaurants. On the other hand, you could sleep very well at night as well (no noise). Perfect combination! If I come back to Budapest, I will definitely come back to Travellers Home!

the hostel manager goes out of his way to assist the guests in whatever they may need and gives great pointers on what to do around the city.

Great hostel, Sandor is great. But this is a quiet hostel so if you are looking to party go to a different one. Other than that git is great.

Sandor is a very good man, helpful, polite, and kind. He gave me all the info I needed about events, a short handwritten guide with tips on places to eat and cultural events, and e also offers an airport pick up service foeasonable price. The hostel is actually a three bedroom apartment with two toilets and on big living room with fitted kitchen, very clean and warm, and also quite at day and night. Be aware that there is no reception so you will have to arrange to get into the premises with him

Sandor was very helpful - it was nice to have someone to collect us from the train station when we arrived. Be prepared to be overwhelmed by information when you first arrive, pamphlets and information galore! The location is good, walking distance to main sights and near a metro station which links to the airport bus. The hostel is pretty basic but suited our needs. No check out time for us which was fantastic. I'd recommend this place if you want a basic budget hostel
