The staff were really friendly, espcially Jorgen. The nights that wereorganised were great fun and the information passed on to travelllers was really helpful. The hostel felt like a community - really liked the beanbags!! The shower facilities could dowith a bit of work, such as space to hang or store inside the shower cubicle.

Everything was great, from the location to the people staying there. Made some really good friends during the 6 nights there. Safe place, in the heart of the city, good beds and showers.

Our stay at Travellers House was great except for a couple of things -very thin walls between rooms and no hot water one day and only lukewarm on another. Excellent staff, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Lisbon is a fabulous city and this hostel made it easy to get about the city due to it's very central location. The staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable. They clearly have pride in their city and will endeavour to make sure your stay with them is a great one. The bathrooms were fine, the only thing was the water temperature - this cured the hangover though :D and if you get up early enough you will get the warm water. if you are going to Lisbon then go here!!!

This place lives up to its rating...it goes above other hostels in the little details - ipads available for when all the computers are in use, a hot breakfast cooked for you, organised activities every night, very convivial common area, really clean bathrooms and rooms. The main thing is the staff who are excellent. They really take their time to show you around the hostel and make recommendations for sightseeing, eating etc. Highly recommended.

Travelled here alone, had an awesome time! Optional Activities provided every night by the staff, but you would be missing out on the experience if you did not attend these - great for socialising and getting to know/meet people! Spotlessly clean, staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff as they make the place what it is! Highly Recommended, Where to stay in Lisbon is an easy decision!

Poor breakfast. You get coffee, toast, eggs and jam. That's it. Every day. One toilet and one shower for six people can sometime be bothering if you are in a hurry to take a shower. Especially in the morning. We also found the water being to cold if someone took a shower before.

Fantastic atmosphere. Common room really encourages people to mingle as well as the awesome nightly events. Of the staff, we interacted with Gee the most and he was the most fantastic host. He directed to a lot of good spots to eat/drink.

Staff was just wonderful! I really felt like a V.I.P. :-) Really a place to come back to next time. The daily activities was just brilliant. The atmosphere in the hostel I already miss! Thanx guys, when things went bad - you were there. Never imposing, never ignoring. Brilliant!

This really was the best hostel I stayed in. ( I have experience with about 14-15 hostels ). The staff was perfect, awesome, amazing.. The activities made it really good for a solo traveler. The building and the atmosphere was absolutely great. Rooms were clean, secure and comfortable. What else can I say?
