Very nice and cozy place with amazing crew, enjoyed my stay a lot, both in dorm and single room. Location is in the middle of everything - shops, sightseeings, transportation. Thank you guys for warm welcome and interesting events organized every night.

This hostel is excellent - I really enjoyed staying here and would happily recommend it to anyone. The staff were very friendly and I had a great room to myself. Breakfast was included and it was delicious! It is very central which means it's quite noisy - take earplugs!

Great staff and location. People are very friendly and the atmosphere here is awesome! Very close to a subway station and is in a lovely street, where you'll find several stores and restaurants. Is close to the majority of Lisbon attractions and sightseeings. Definitely worth it! The only downside: the breakfast is really poor for non-americans. (You have an option of eggs, bacon and toast or chocolate crepes, only). Great night activities, room is clean and cosy.

The location is perfect! All the major plazas are near the hostel so it was very easy to access tourist attractions! The breakfast served is hotel-quality, and every staff was so nice. Even I arrived early in the morning like 6:30 a.m., the staff greeted me and have me rest the the DVD room in the rounge. I wanna be there again!

I stayed here specifically to see why this hostel had won so many awards and I was not disappointed. One of the friendliest and sociable staffs I have ever encountered, well located to all forms of transportation, fast internet, comfortable tv area and free computers to use (they also loan you iPads, who does that!?). They also have free breakfast everyday and not just cereal but eggs and bacon made to order! Plenty of planned activities to meet new people as well. Highly recommended!

IMPRESSIVE, HOSPITABLE, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, INTERESTED and INTERESTING. … Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at! Keep on doing what you are already doing. Hold onto your staff, especially the dynamic and engaging 'João.'

Wow this is the best hostel I've ever been in! Super nice staff, great breakfast, good location and just for 8 euros a night. Nothing more to wish for.

Had a dinner with travellers house. It is like barbecue with wine. Fabulous atmosphere and met lots of nice people. Enjoyed it a lot.

Perfectly located in the city centre, the Travellers House is an excellent low-cost place to stay for a few days. If you plan to stay for a week or even longer, you'll be better off in a hotel. Althought there was no real problem to complain about, the very high recommendation rate may rise expectations a bit to much. It still is a hostel for travellers living the backpackers spirit - a very good one though.

This was by far the best hostel we stayed at in our 3 months of travelling in Europe. The breakfast was banging, bacon eggs and toast, or pancakes, heck yes. and the staff were absolutely amazing. The rooms and washrooms were spick and span.Would recommend anyone and everyone to stay here

This is the closest I've ever been to just staying at a friend's home. Every single detail makes you feel as comfortable as at an old friend's place. The cleaning is impecable even though tou don't see it happening ( they are really sneaky!). The fact that you can help yourself with coffee and tea all day makes you feel so spoiled! I think only a friend would offer me that! And the staff.... i can say i had as much attention as i would get from my mom back home! A place to certainly go back!

I usually stay at hotels rather than hostels; however, Travellers House is in a different league, you wonder if the place is recently opened. It's more like a hotel than a hostel Everything looks in pristine condition, besides the care for detail and good taste in the decoration. I booked a private room at the top floor with a shared bathroom; it was stupendous. The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff made their best to make the experience a memorable one. Beautiful people in a beautiful place.
