The best hostel I have ever stayed in, very clean, lots of character & great location! The night time activities organized by them are very entertaining & as a lone traveller are a great way to meet others! Day trip to Sintra is great & every single one of the staff are so friendly & helpful, will be back to stay! Highly recommended!

Best hostel we have been to yet! Perfect location, everything you need to get to is within walking distance, including transportation. Extremely helpful staff that will help you plan your days in Lisbon. Also, the best breakfast we have had on our trip through Europe, cooked by three very kind ladies! Clean and comfy beds, a great common room, and super fun nightly activites for affordable prices! I recommend this hostel to everyone!

Lovely staff, everything was always clean, perfect location, very safe neighborhood, events organized every evening. The staff is really knowledgeable about the city so they can give you lots of tips about where to go and provide great tours. Yummy homecook breakfast provided in the mornings. The activities are so entertaining but they don´t interfere with the fact that it´s a great place to rest.

Like probably every other review - really, really enjoyed my two nights here! I did hostel events both nights and they were some of the best I've come across. Lovely staff, very comfortable spaces both public and private, and great food and service. The room I stayed in would have greatly benefited from a table, chair, and/or mirror, however. Also, the showers were a nightmare - either boiling or freezing, I don't think I was able to properly clean myself whilst I was there :/

This was the best hostel I've ever stayed at! It is located in the center on a pedestrian street so there is no noise at night from passing cars. Towels, breakfast, and wi-fi were completely free. The staff were incredible, very very helpful and extremely nice! Every night there is some activity guests can participate in, when I went we were able to try traditional Portuguese chorizo, cheese and wine. Overall, fantastic stay and I would recommend this hostel to anyone in a heartbeat!

If you are staying in Lisbon you MUST stay at travellers house! The staff is awesome, friendly, they dedicate time to helping you figure out your activities and site seeing. They have events every night such as a night strolls thru Alfama, where listen to amazing Portuguese music, soup nights, Tapas night and wine tasting, they are all fabulous, You feel at home when you are there. They do an amzing job of making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast is great!!!Very clean and central

Perfect hospitality, major problem that we've seen is cleanliness. They can take more care of this subject. Others are all good !!

This was one of the best hostels I have visited in all of Western Europe. The staff clearly love their jobs; they go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and to show them the best that Lisbon has to offer. A special thanks to both Joao and Jorgen for their fantastic travel tips.

Booked this hostel for our vacation in Portugal, but our visas were cancelled at the border. We were really shocked by the situation and sent an email explaining everything, showing the visa scans etc. The person I was talking to was really nice, but they still charged us the first night. Тhat's probably fine, since the hostel's policy is 3 days cancellation, but I was disappointed anyway. It's all about business. -40 euros added up to all the customs problems.
