nice place in BOmbay (area of Fort, 5 minutes walk from Victoria Station CST) very convenient to go around the city, They can offer a taxi pick up service from Airport if you are afraid........ sober and clean rooms with free wifi available...

thought it was good - was slightly dissappointed that we could not access internet in room. Felt it lacked a little soul but on the whole a good value place to stay in Mumbai.

Ever stayed in a marble lined room? This place is spartan but elegant at the same time, shades of gray, cream and white underlined with touches of black. It's location couldn't be better for a short stay in Mumbai, where the great sites are concentrated in the southern reaches. Chose your room carefully. Those next to reception on lobby level can be noisy. Mine on second level was very quiet. Even the crows didn't disturb. Good breakfast...try the masala omelet.

It was an ok place to stay barring the short change only 10rp but the principle and the water pipe busting and flooding the room. could do with a common room as space is limited beside the pc. its in the Heart of the city and felt safe even at 3 in the morning, staff were also very helpful and dorm rooms have there own lockers which was a plus. I would recommend it.

as most other comments point out: there is no common room, so everybody using the wifi has to sit on the stairs. most members of the staff were super unfriendly, slow and incredibly unprofessional. for these reasons, the price is way too high. on the other hand, the hostel is clean and the location could not be better (right next to cafe universal, which is one of the coolest coffee houses we have ever been to)

Very noisy keys so you were woken every time someone opened their door. I think this was mainly due to the very echoey corridors.

Very nice hostel. We spend there two nights. In comparing to the other mumbai hotel the price is OK, stuff was also OK. They have free WiFi which works in the corridor. They offered us also Taxi to the airport in reasonable price. Location is good, quite near to the Victoria station. Hostel is in smaller street, we had room with window to the backyard and it was very quite in the room, which is seldom in indian hotels.

WORST HOTEL EVER. Never ask pickup service, because they charged us 1600rp instead of 400rp (normal tariff).Rooms are small, dirty and showers work sometimes. Costumers are not so friendly and helpful. We forgot an expensive coverpillow for asthmatics in first time and we hastly send 3emails to advise them to search it, but they didn\'t do it in 15days. When we came back they say that they didn\'t find. No ask room near reception because they don\'t respect the calm and yell all the night.

Good place to stay, expensive for India but not for Mumbai, clean rooms. No hot water for showers though.

we loved staying at this hostel for our first night in india!! the double room on the top floor was perfectly adequate - we had a good night's sleep in clean bed and excellent warm shower. the hotel is situated in a quiet leafy side street and it lacks is a communal area but we used the internet on a computer in the stair well which was fine. the best thing about the traveller's inn is the staff who are wonderful!!! they couldn't do enough to help us and booked a train over the phone for me. A++

We, a travelling round the world couple counting together 142 years, have been highly satisfied with our stay at Traveller's Inn. Unfortunately they could not prolonge our days with them, so we had to move elsewhere.
