Nice place!

The staff here were amazing. Really clean, organized, friendly. Wonderful atmosphere. Lots of fun organized events. Probably my best hostel experience. A bit of a walk from downtown but they often shuttled us around as well!

on arrival we were checked in by the welsh man -John. He couldn't have been more helpfull or efficient. During our stay he couldnt do enough for us and made our stay in the hostel and cairns one to remember.

John (manager) and Kerry were legends . Really welcoming and friendly. Remembering everyone that was staying there and calling them by name. Hospitable and generous. Really helpful and keen to make the most out of everyone's stay there. Sorry I couldn't have stayed longer. Thanks guys - you made Cairns for me. Hels bels xx P.S. great home brew too.,,,

The staff were very friendly & helpful with all our travel needs. The place was simple but clean & comfortable with a lovely pool and fast wifi.

Great service, always friendly, gave travl tips and secrets, the AC cost money to use but worked super well, critical for such a hot area.

We'd stayed for one night, unfortunately.. service of the staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Atmosphere and facilities was great. I'd definitely recommend this place to others; a very nice place to stay away from home.

EXCELLENT! I didnt want to leave Travellers Oasis as after just under a week there it had become my home. Not only was this one of the most relaxed & chilled hostels I have stayed at, but the staff (Helen, Jonno, Kerri) were by far the friendliest and built a great atmosphere throughout the hostel & all its guests, knowing everyone's name, patiently helping with travel bookings & just generally treating us all as close friends. I miss the hostel & staff already & can't wait to return! Excellent

The staff were committed, friendly and knew what to do, see and how to do it in the best and most priceworthy way. They made our stay in Cairns great!

The Monday night BBQ was excellent and the highlight of my stay here. I found the washrooms to be too few and that they were only cleaned once a day made them a little gross by the end of the day. Also you have to pay for A/C ($1 per hour which isn't a big deal except for the fact that the A/C unit was really loud which meant I needed earplugs to sleep).

The greatest Hostel I've been in Australia! Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, rooms are very cosy and clean, bathrooms/showers are totally clean. The whole place is like a tropical dream... Special Thanks to Gabriel and Cathy, who have been wonderful!

Having travelled the whole of the East coast, loved this hostel. It's small and quirky with two seperate kitchen areas. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and gave great deals on the tours we booked (we'd priced around town and the hostel was as good or better on all!) Located at the back of the train station very convenient to the town centre shops and pubs, without the noise

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hostel was located a bit of a walk from the downtown, but it made up for the distance in being quiet, which was a huge bonus. The other travelers were friendly, mostly an older (25 to early 30's) group than a lot of hostels. I would definitely stay at Traveler's Oasis again.

This is a great place to stay in Cairns. It is a walking distance to the main street and close to the grocery store (about 3 blocks). The BBQ was great (tasty meats and very good price) and Gabriel is a terrific host, his stories were quite entertaining. The facilities are clean. This is probably one of the few hostels where I saw a charge for Wi-fi. This should be provided free of charge. Same with the A/C, I thought it was free. Still $1 for 3 hours of A/C is not that bad.

An excellent hostel, probably the best i've seen. John on reception was extremely helpful booking various trip, the comunal area was fun, with pizza night and a bbq, i just had such a great time there... :-)

This was such a warm welcome to Australia!! The staff is so helpfull and friendly they help out with everything you need! The personal attention is super! The hostel has a great atmosphere and great place to relax from all the trrips and worries of backpacking..! Wish these hostels were everywhere in australia!
