The internet DOES NOT WORK ON IPHONES!!! WTF!!?? other then that...The place is dirty and overcrowded, there's like 30 living there, all in working visas and they get territorial at times. Only 3 showers! And all nasty. The 24 hours reception is a LIE! Got there at 6am, and had to wait outside in the cold till 9:30. No alcohol allowed, but the own a bar downstairs with good deals. It was not awfull over all but it was kind a bad

The staff is very friendly, helpull and fun. The atmosphere there was great too, like a little family. But the cleanliness needs more attention and there are not enough toilets or kitchen items.

We had a short but pleasant stay. The staff and the internet cafe helped us get oriented. Didn't use the kitchen, but it's the thought that counts.

The place is very messy and stinky. Ands its really old. There's a bathroom at outside downstairs, when I go there and take a shower and afer that I want to go back inside it was lock.. And I have to knock and yelling like a crazy girl to get someone to ipen the door but they didnt hear it. I knew some of the people hear it but they pretend they didnt hear. And I have to wait for 30 minutes to get someone open the door. The cleanliness is really poor.

Kitchen needed a good clean and no soap to wash your hands. Well run, particularly liked the coles bag with cutlery and plates.

Nice people, fun atmosphere. Could do with a spring clean, and definitely some lockers as I had some money stolen out of my jewellery bag...

I have stayed in many hostels in different countries and this by far the worst one. The place is so run down. My room was not clean with dirty tissues and dust under the bed.The bathroom is old and dirty with no place to hang your clothes. There was no toilet paper so i had to find some. The shutters in my room were broken so the room was very bright. The standard was below average. The only 2 things this place got going for it, is the staff and the location. Both are great.

I actually enjoyed my stay at this hostel although I think there are not enough toilets/showers and sometimes it's been too noisy during the night.

Although this hostel is in a great location, and the staff are friendly It is highly disorganized and needs renovating. Some people may argue that the price justifies all of the shortcuts this hostel takes, however I would happily argue that the price is too high for the quality of hygiene standards and facilities that it has. 1. broken shower head for 7 days 2. mouldy shower curtain 3. unvacuumed dorm floor for 7 days 4. cleanileness is really bad 5. really noisy 6. fines for not doing dishes

Small rooms. Only one small fan for everyone in the room, that's just impossible specially during the heat of summer, so I couldn't sleep properly. Only one dirty shower for everyone. But nice and friendly atmosphere. Small backpack so easy to get contact with other people

I enjoyed staying at this hostel, it was more like a student shared house so maybe not right for the more nature backpacker. But good for fresh out of uni travellers like myself. Wasn't any lockers for your stuff but front door and dorm doors were very secure. Wifi didnt work on apple products which was frustrating. But there's computers downstairs to use :)

Though there might be other hostels that tend to be a bit more on the luxurious side, we definitely preferred Traveller Trax's feel. It is very comfortable and homie. The staff is wonderful!!! And the people at the hostel are laid back travelers. They are currently renovating the whole place so its looking great. Keep up the good work Ollie, Shaun and Jesse!!!!! :)

Only two bathrooms in the whole hostel, kitchen very dirty, so are the bathrooms, beds were Okay.. the music from the pub downstairs was very loud, but they didnt play the whole night, so it could've been worse. The nearest grocery store (woolworths) is about 1,5km away... The victoria park train station is Pretty close, about 500m away... It's a cheap hostel so u pretty much get what u pay for.
