If you have ever stayed in a Travelodge before, you know the deal. What you get is a spotlessly clean, functionally sound room at a reasonable price. There are no dodgy bed-springs, insect infestations, or sewage smells. I must say the lady at the desk was lovely, as were the staff next door in Eddie Rockets who stoically accommodated our cheeky request for a meal ten minutes before 11pm closing time.
