Travelodge Limerick is a very good place to stay at if you want to explore the city. For us it was easy to find (if you follow the signs to the University.) You can walk to the city centre (half hour). The café next door serves good food.

It's no hostel but a hotel. We changed our booking in advance with the hotel because one person couldn't go with us and so we needed less rooms But when we got there they said they didn't get it (even though we could show them the email we got from them) and they made us pay more rooms than we wanted. The staff was really unfriendly! Also, the hotel is located in an industrial area. It's ok for just a (expensive) night of sleep but it's quite outside the city.

Pleasant clean rooms, no unnecessary stuff but everything you need is there. Comfortable beds, nice clean bathroom with warm shower.
