Not sure why a motel/hotel is part of a hostel review. This travelodge is the same as every other traelodge. very clean rooms / bathroom, comfortable beds. no free wifi is definitely a con.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. And the diner next door does the best milkshakes ever! Thorougly recommend

The place is just perfect, really comfortable and the rooms are big and supplied with all the facilities (except the wifi). Unfortunately while we were sleeping, in the middle of the night, the fire alarm woke us up for 2 times in one hour! This was terrible as we needed to rest properly while a bunch of drunken wasn't kept under control..a pity all in all.
Breakfast is not included, but there is a good American diner next to the hotel. This hotel is far away from Limerick city centre (car/taxi approx. 15-20 min.) and it's not easy to get there without car. There is a busstop in front of Travelodge.
The beds were very clean and the linen fresh. However the hotel was very tired and dated and the only eating facility was a Burger type place next door which smelt of fried food. We expected good quality accommodation for what we paid €109 for a twin - but it was barely a step up from a backpackers. Not good value for money. Should have been at least half the price. It was because it was Saturday night and they charge a premium because of demand.

We loved this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was convenient to have a restaurant and a supermarket so close by, because the hotel is about a 30 minute walk into Limerick. The taxi was cheap to get there from the city, the staff was helpful, and overall we had no complaints whatsoever!
the accommodation was very clean and tidy and we didn't miss anything there. they cleaned the room everyday which was really nice. however, the travelodge is probably more suitable if you're travelling further on the next day as it's more like a motel. there is not much to do around the area, you don't really meet people, you are a bit isolated and it's not as cosy as a little hostel. if you don't mind this then it's definitely worth a visit.
