The location is good, things are reasonably clean, and staff were very helpful. However , they have not enough fans for all the rooms! I fail to understand this, as Budapest faces the same sweltering heat every summer- how can it not be customary to have fans for every room? Apart from that, we had a good stay.

Very good hostel in the centre of Budapest. It can get loud on the streets at night so do bring ear plugs if you want a good night's sleep. The staff are friendly, the WiFi was a bit shaky but otherwise decent. Kitchen facilities and security was good, locks on the main doors and for all the rooms. A decent hostel, worth the price and a short walking distance to major parts of the city, though there's already plenty going on in the neighbourhood. Recommended.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and were able to answer all of my questions, no matter how stupid they were. (I was even directed to the best ice cream in Budapest) The rooms are fine. But keep in mind that Budapest is a party city, so expect your room mates to be stumbling in drunk from 1am through to 6am. Also, due to there being no A/C the windows had to be opened. It's very noisy down on the street (drunken party goers until 5am) So not much sleep was had. Otherwise, no problems.

Treestyle was a great place to stay for 5 nights. The showers were clean and the common room and kitchen were fairly large. We felt that there wasn't a very social atmosphere at the hostel, which was disappointing - even though it isn't a party hostel, it's still possible to have a sociable atmosphere. Either way, the hostel was clean and very close to a number of good clubs, bars, restaurants, and sights, and we had a good stay.

Treestyle was great, but you get what you pay for. Facilities were clean, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the location was pretty close to all main tourist locations. You can buy tickets to a lot of major tourist destinations at the front desk which was so useful! Rooms were hot and only 1 out of the 3 windows opened, however. My sheets had small holes in them near the bottom but overall very clean and tidy.

The hostel was good, staff are very friendly and accommodating, there were a few problems with showers flooding while we were there, but that was only a minor issue. The rooms could use some air conditioning seeing as the summer days and nights can be very warm. Overall the experience was great!

Great location, and easy to find. However, very noisy at night, and the rooms were incredibly hot. The staff were friendly and when we asked questions they were very helpful. However, our bathroom wasn't clean when we arrived and was only cleaned when we asked for it to be on the last day. But otherwise the location and receptionists make up for it.

Lack of any air conditioning, or even a fan, made it very difficult to sleep.

Male evening staff was unwelcoming and made us feel like we were bothering him. Bathrooms were dirty - only ran warm water. Bedrooms were poorly lit and bedding was very thin and papery. In a bit of a rough area. Kitchen facilities were decent. Not ideal if looking for a fun traveller atmosphere. This place is just gloomy and dull. Would not recommend. Definitely not worth what we paid.

My boyfriend and I spent 3 nights in a private ensuite room and couldn't have had a better time in budapest! The hostel is located right in the centre of everything you need, especially the world famous, not to be missed, ruin bars. The staff made our stay very easy, always available for any information we may need. I wouldn't recommend this hostel however to those looking for a crazy party - there are plenty of party hostels in the city - this one is more relaxed/ quiet.

When we left the hostel we told the staff we would be leaving at 4 am, and the girl assured us her colleague would be awake. Yet when we left the reception door was closed and we were unable to give the key back and get our deposits back so we were forced to slide them under the door. I think the reception doors should always be open so staff can regulate who is coming in and out of the hostel

A quite and cozy hostel near New York Cafe. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is good. But the room could be brighter.

The kitchen was great! All the pots and pans and utensils you could need to cook a great meal. Lacking a bit of atmosphere/good common area. The beds are comfy enough but great to have a light and powerpoint for every bed (at least in our room). Lockers were very average and not very secure, although the building has great security. Only a small walk to the city centre and so close to all the great pubs. Also close to the 24hr trams! Staff were happy and helpful. Showers are in a cupboard

Very clean hostel, there's a women cleaning all day. Only 1 shower and toilet for floor for each gender. 1 socket per bed and light. Room with 3 chairs and 1 table and good space. Wifi works usually fine, friendly staff. The location has many pubs, restaurants and night bars. Have a kitchen with 2 "kitchen" (2 fridges, 2 sinks, ...). The hostel is only for sleep and eat, no bar, no common room... but very good and cheap.

The stay at the hostel was great, staff very friendly, the location in center of Pest side of city, near parks, ruin pubs, stores, fast foods, restaurants, metro/train/bus stops. Hostel has keycards for entering rooms, and every bed it's private locker so you can come at any time. It wasn't very full at the time of my stay (the season hasn't obviously started yet), so most of the time I was alone in 6bed dorm... But for this price it's real value, it got all my recommendations.
