Nice Staff. Wifi just worked on and off the time we spent there. Booked a room for four people, but there weren't any fourbed rooms as it said on internet. Got a room for 6 people instead.

Very basic rooms but it is so cheap that you can not complain. A good 20-30 min walk from city center, however it is fairly quiet neighbourhood. Wifi is very slow but ok for checking facebook and email. Sang is their onsite tour leader,he is very friendly and often let us eat with his family for free. He also took us on the best trek up to his tribe the lahu people which we will never forget. Make sure to ask for Sang if you stay there and be sure to say hi to him from Stan.

They gave up my reservation for a single room with a shower and I had to sleep in a dorm room with 4 guys I did not know. I was not very happy about it. But, they were nice, other than giving up my room, and the place was very chill. It's really far outside of the center of Chiang Mai though and I think I would have rather stayed closer.

Felt very unwelcome. Staff talked about us, laughed at our expense. All common areas were overrun by their family and were unable to use them. The common area in the photos is actually their backyard where they eat and drink and do so until very late.Internet shared with family had to wait until their many kids weren't using it before we could.Internet only worked 3 days out of 5.They fought constantly with each other.Took 3 days for 1 load washing.Drivers dont know where it is. Too far from shops

The staff firstly didn't expect us. No hot shower like it states, the bed sheets were repulsive and the fan was poor. The family who lived there were up until 2am or so each night then awake at 5am with no consideration for their guests. It was like staying with a family who didn't acknowledge us, just stared, They tried to charge us for toilet paper after not giving us any in the first place which is a pretty basic requirement. It takes half an hour to walk to the night market not 10 minutes!

Doors didn't lock so security was an issue. Bedding and room are kind of old and doesn't look clean but what we got what we paid for. It was cheap and I needed a place to stay so it all worked out. I had a pleasant stay nonetheless. :)
