Stayed in the 12 bed dorm for 3 nights. Rooms small with no view and loud music thumping in the background at night. Best part about place was location - right by Little India for great food. Directions from airport to hostel were poor (best is get off at Lavender metro and walk). Breakfast included was decent (toast, apple, orange and tea). Staff were rude and not knowledgeable - misinformed us about where/how to catch bus to Night Safari and night bus to airport. Place average at best.

I very much enjoyed my stay here but there are a couple things you should know. First of all THE PLACE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE IN THE PICTURES. It seems that about 2 years ago they turned what used to be a relaxed looking lounge area into an obnoxious cafe/restaurant. They still havnt updated their photos. Further the Philipinos working there are not very tactical in dealing with tourists/guests. Initially they do not seem friendly at all but once you get to know them better they actually are.

I would have expected a friendlier staff. As we arrived to the hostel they didn't supply us with all sufficient information and didn't give an intdocution to all the facilities. Furthermore the atmosphere could have been nicer, since it was kind of anonymous in this hostel. May be feedback is also somehow connected to the behavior of other customers, which stayed there at the same time, since it was kind of annoying to share a room with them.

Tresor Tavern is the only place I stay at when I am in Singapore. The staff are nice and very accommodating especially Joel, Christine, Ate Edna, Kuya Manny and Agnes. Thanks for always helping out. :-)

Please make sure that your rooms are cleaned before the next guest come. Bathrooms must be cleaned every now and then. Advice your staff to knock the door before coming in specially during night time.

I stay in this hostel between 21 and 25 Feb. In the first day of check-in I was told to move in the other dorm room at 23 Feb. However, the staff did't tell me when to move. After the interview of the professors in NUS and the supper, I came back to the hostel about 9pm. The staff told me to move the things inter locker. The rest things put on the bed and the clothes hang on the bar were all moved by the staff. (Including. my luggage) My blue T-shirt and one underwear were gone.
