just one word AWESOME!

The hostel was newer and nice. It cost a bit more then what I am used to paying and didnt include anything. No breakfast, coffee, condiments. Ten beds in a small room. Everyones luggage was all over the floor cause there was no space for it. Two feet between me and the next bunk. One mirror in the bathroom shared with nine other girls. The staff was helpful, but not very friendly. The beach is close and the island is lovely. Just need to bring your own food, coffee etc.

Tribu is by far the best hostel in Holbox, the staff are really friendly. The rooms are really nice even though there is no air conditioning the fan was enough. We stayed in one of the private rooms with an en-suite bathroom, which was really nice and clean. Awesome shower. The bar has cheep beer- probably the cheapest place on the island. All in all a great place to stay :)

I had a great time here at Tribu, they are a very great group of people that run the hostel and are always more then friendly and very approchable. They have great theme nights every night and when the party is over at the bar upstairs then it is a 3 to 4 minute walk to the next party that goes all night !!! I would have to say the only thing bad and has nothing to do with the hostel is that I have never had so many bites from the sand flys as I have in Holbox. Other then that most excellent !!!

the hostel is really great, close to the beach, a lot of hammocks and the dorms are big and clean. there are a lot of long term stayers there who feel like a bif family so sometimes i can be hard getting to know people when you are there just for a few days

The best hostel I ever stayed, the family that owns it are extremly nice and don´t miss a Jam session.

I think this is the place to be on isla holbox, definitely. the staff is great and helpful, the atmosphere and the design is the best i've seen so far in mexico ! very good stay, well organized, clean, cheap drinks at the bar, best hamacs in mexico too :)
