Directions to Tropic Days Backpackers

Tropic Days Backpackers is located in a quiet area, a pleasant 20 minute walk from the Cairns Esplanade through Cairns shopping district.
If you feel like taking it easy, we offer frequent courtesy buses which run to and from town, between 7.30am and 9.00pm daily; making Tropic Days an ideal location to enjoy the city, while you have the option to relax in the peace and quiet we offer.

If you are arriving at Cairns by bus or train we can offer a free pick up service between 7.30am to 8.30pm. Cairns Airport has an international and domestic terminal, located about 6km from the city centre. A cab from the airport to Tropic Days will cost you about $25, or the shuttle bus costs $10.00 per person and will drop you to our door.
