Fantastic hostel. We only stayed 1 night as we had already booked elsewhere, if we could have cancelled and stayed here we would have!! Really lovely 'home' feel, lovely staff. Would recommend.

A very friendly staff will welcome you in an tropical enclosure! Perfect match with the busy esplanade and well worthy to get a at from the crowded loudness of the city backpackers!

Loved staying here - met loads of great people. The location is a bit of a bummer as it is not in the center, but this never really impeded me, I just had to make sure to plan to walk into the city or be at the shuttle bus at a certain time. But the atmosphere more than made up for the location!

Out of all the people I have met travelling, these guys were the best. As it's a small hostel, it is so easy to speak to people and get involved in social activities with others. Although it is a little far out of town, you get 9 free transfers in and out of town everyday. So don't let the distance put you off!

Two staff who were there most of the time were excellent. The one who checked us out not so much.

Tropic days was a great place to stay. Amazing atmosphere, all the guests and staff were very friendly and chatty. The hostel was well maintained, it was very chilled out and friendly. Location wise it's a bit far from the main city, but they have regular free shuttle buses in to town and they give you a lift in the morning to the marina if you're going on any tours! I would definitely recommend to others and I would stay here again. The Aussie BBQ was good fun as well if you get a chance!

It was actual one of the nicest hostel I have been so fare in the last few months. Bit out of the city, but with a shuttle service, really relaxed and with a pretty outdoor area. The atmosphere is familiar and so comphy. Nice crew as well, can't complain!

By far the best hostel I have ever visited! If you are looking for somewhere quiet to relax and escape the crazy party scene, that place is perfect. It's like a home away from home. Its literally a big share house with a pool, chill courtyard and hammocks, BBQ and pool table and very well equipped kitchens. The staff is awesome and i swear super hard working because this little paradise is neat and clean 24/7. Free (and great) wifi,TV and shuttle that runs to town. I definitely recommend it :)

Really nice home from home hostel for those that like to stay somewhere a bit quieter. Really good facilities, decent sized and well equipped kitchen, nice outdoor area and really helpful reception with loads of info on tours which they can book for you. They also run a free shuttle in and out of the city at certain times. All in all, we loved our stay, the staff couldn't have been any nicer and more helpful. Would definitely stay again, and for longer next time. Thanks Tropic Days!

Clean hostel Good staff Safes in the room But Location is sh$*&@ About 30 min walk into the city. They have a shuttle bus but it's departing to seldom Also The garden is only open till 22:00 bit no one cares so you have a lot of loud people sitting teehee and talking The staff is doing nothing about it

Nice place. Clean, friendly staff, many events around the hostel. Not the greatest location, but the free shuttle into town is helpful. Wifi isn't great, but the pool and billiards table on-site are. Would recommend.

This hostel was surprisingly colourful, fun and clean all at the same time. The hammocks were very nice to lay in and the garden was well kept and beautiful. The free wifi was slow during peak hours, mainly because everyone was using it. The bathroom upstairs was nice and the shower hot. Free tea and fresh bread were the highlights in the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again. great staff, really helpful and really cool backpackers taking a break from the party scene.

charming and off the beaten path, great value and friendly check in. this hostel is located a bit away from the center of the city, but offers free rides in the hour to and from. the highlights were the homey atmosphere, hammocks and never crowded pool.

There wasn't any soap, and the showere looked like you'd come out dirtier than going in, but overall it was really good. Lovely people staying there and lovely people working there, very cheap and I liked that there was a fridge in the dorm and things. Good for the amount I paid, it just wasn't the cleanest of places.
