Wow, I absolutely loved this hostel. You get so much for your money; free internet, wifi, tea & coffee and lots to do. There's a great swimming pool and lots of places to hang out. I only stayed here for two nights, but I really enjoyed myself and would definitely stay here again if I come back. Thanks, Tropic Days!!

I stayed Tropic Days for 6 days, which was great. They have super kind and helpful receptionists and room, toilet, kitchen are very clean. Only one inconvenience is that it is so far from city centre. You can walk to city centre, but Cairns is too hot to walk even if it is just a little. For that, Tropic Days offers a shuttle bus to city and from city, which is very handy. It was very good place to stay in Cairns anyway!!

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, and I've travelled a lot. Beautiful hostel area, feels like home when you're far away from home, everything you could possibly expect from a hostel is found and excellent customer service!!! The only downside I can think of is location - if you want to be able to roll into bed directly from the bar this is too far away. Which means if you want also to be able to sleep, this is THE hostel. Keep up the good work guys!

This was a really cool hostel. It is a little outside of the town, but it is walkable and there is a shuttle if you don't want to walk. The advantage is that it is quiet and the setting is really nice. There is a large backyard/outdoor area with a pool. The bbq was great, and the best part was Laura, who worked the front desk. She helped us with everything--bookings, finding the right tours at the last minute, and even made dinner reservations for us. No lockers.

I did like the night safe/box in which you leave the admission documents and key for late comers after the reception is closed.Great idea. I thank the staff member who gave me the antiseptic cream. The doors of the 2nd floor bathroom must be adjusted to stop the "shrieking" at night. You must let your driver know that dropping off for the inter country trains is not at the rear where you climb steps but in the front entrance., because that is where you check in the luggage.Great flowersandshrub.

All was perfect, I just regret about the day I had to pay a beer and a staff person said it should be 3 more cents with credit card, nobody else of the staff charged me that amount afterwards when I paid credit

I stayed over Christmas and the owners made the effort to come bring us a champagne breakfast before spending time with their family! Very relaxed atmosphere and met a lot of cool people during my stay. On top of this, free wifi. I would definitely recommend staying here as you can easily walk to the centre of Cairns or take the courtesy bus

We camped here for one night, everything was great it is a little far from everything but they provide a shuttle to the main part of town every few hours. Definitely would recommend.

This was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms/ washrooms were always clean, the fun activities with the pool and free pool table as well as the pizza/ BBQ nights were awesome. I would not hesitate to recommend this hostel to anyone. Thank you Tropic Days for such a great time, my stay in Cairns wouldn't have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. Keep up the awesome job!
