Our double room had been given away due to late arrival but room was found. The nightclub next door was a bit noisy but did\'t keep us awake. The shower in the tiny toilet was a bit of a squeeze. But VFM and convenient location outweighed these small irritations.

Everything was perfect, great breakfast spread, friendly staff, but stayed in room on top floor with windows without glass on three walls meaning noise from traffic at night was incredibly loud and slept pretty badly.

They gave us a room without door. As a rapesurvivor I would have liked to know in advance as to find somewhere else to live. Also there is no bath! And no glass in windows, impossible to sleep with all the noise!

A great place to stay and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and a reasonable size. The hostel is a little way from the centre of town but it is easy to get a tuk tuk there and back. I would definitely stay again.

A great location but a slightly odd set up. The hostel could afford to be a bit cleaner and this is certainly somewhere to just base yourself as the rooms are pretty basic and stark. Hot water was a rarity. Breakfast was ok but after the fifth morning of the same thing we were craving variety, having said that it was included so can't complain really. The night porter was by turns helpful and a little over friendly. However, he didn't seem to mind being woken up in the early hours.
