I can\'t fault this hotel in any way. It was my own stupid fault to try India in Monsoon Season. The Place itself was pretty good for the price and was literatly 1 minute walk from the beach (not that you can use it in Monsoon Season) and it had loads of bars and resturants close by( again not that any were open in monsoon season) The dude who ran the place was pretty cool too and always more than willing to help you out.

It's a great place to stay, it only takes a 3 minute walk to the beach. We were supposed to be there for 3 nights, but in the end we stayed for 7!!!

I was in Goa with a friend and we just wanted to relax there. At the Tropicano beach Resort we felt like part of the family. The owner even helped us to organize our bustickets. It was a wonderful atmoshere and the beach was not longer than in a 3-minute distance. The room was small with a doublebed and a private bathroom, but that was totally enough.Every room had a nice balkony leading to the garden. I can really recommend that place for backpackers who want to stay in a rather calm place. Read Owner Comments

What a delightful place to stay! It is just a short walk over sand dunes to the beach, there are good restaurants and shops nearby and it is superb value for money. The pleasant, clean rooms are set at 2 levels around a leafy courtyard. The staff is friendly tto - I will be staying their again. note that it is possible to upgrade to an a/c room when available for 300Rps extra.

Good location (2 min from beach) in center but away from street noise. Basic rooms though comfortable. Very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

The tropicano is a very nice place. Just make sure you are booking the room you want. We booked on hostel world and we didn't realize there was an option for AC rooms. AC rooms are 800 INR. They were very accomodating at let us switch, but only had room for us to move for 2 nights of our stay. If you stay in March, you may want AC since it is very hot every day and there isn't really any place to escape the heat except for the beach!!
