I found this hostel quite intimidating with lots of closed doors. But it was very clean and fairly quiet. Not much parking and you have to pay for the internet. But the café downstairs was handy and really relaxing for a leisurely breakfast.

For me, clean room, toilet/shower and kitchen are essential and this hostel ticked those boxes. The free WiFi was an added bonus as some hostels charge a fortune for internet. And it has its very own cafe/bar attached for some good coffee and cake :)

Decent enough if you really want to be in Invercargill!

This was a treat of a place to stay. Enthusiastically greeted by some friendly and helpful staff, free (if slow) internet, nice clean kitchen, small rooms. It's a fantastic location, too!

Nice place, near of the center city (even if it's far from the intercity bus stop). A little bit noisy with the music of the bar just below the windows ...

Tuatara Lodge is in a great location and has good facilities. It is nice and clean and for the most part the staff were good. However, I didn't receive much help when trying to organise how to get out to the airport. The food in the cafe is good as well.
