I had a good sleep and enjoyed my stay at this accommodation. The staff is very friendly, but the place is poorly run. When calling upfront for rate information, they tried to book me a room at a rate higher than advertised. Internet was not working. Lacking change to take R100 notes. Credit/debit card reader defective. Then there was a barkeeper who repeatedly couldn't resist to crank up the music volume even when everyone at the bar was reading or having a conversation. A bit clueless.

A nice area for camping and dorming. Food is ok and the staff were helpful. There were odd times where they could have been MORE helpful but on a whole I had a pleasant stay.

The staff at no point smiled or offered us any help when we asked for assistance in organising activities. We paid for a private room with linen and towels provided. not only were these dirty but it took the staff two days to provide one towel - not really adequate for 2 people. Staff walked in on us without knocking and never apologised. The internet was not working & tea and coffee costs. When raising the issues staff did not care. This hostel is a waste of money - DO NOT STAY HERE!!
