Property Information:
Tubohotel is one of the worlds most unique "luxury" hstels. Built out of huge industrial drainage tubes you have your own private tube, some in pyramid form that fit a queen-sized bed. They include linens, pillows, bedding, under bed storage, a headboard with electrical plugs, curtains, free wireless internet, fan and a light.
The tubes are thermic keeping a stable temperature both day and night. Located in a traditional Tepozteco orchard you can enjoy the picnic tables, pool (coming summer 2011), barbeques available for rent, and incredible views of the surrounding mountains.
This is not your traditional property as you will have the privacy of your own room but with all of the fun of a property with great common areas and a social environment. Tepoztlan is one of the most scenic, safe, and culturally interesting pueblos in Mexico. Called a "magic village" Tepoztlan is located 45 minutes south of Mexico City in the land of eternal spring. Tepoztlan is a unique mixture of villagers, lost hippies, and artists, a vibe you will find in no other place in Mexico.
A party, celebration, fireworks, birthday, town festival is going on literally every week. Hike, ride horses, temascal (sweat lodge with herbal treatment), climb mountains, watch birds, watch people -- lots of cool activities for the interested traveler.

The booked price on Hostelworld.com was different from the price I had to pay when I arrived. On Hostelworld.com it said: 36 US Dollars, when I arrived they told me a price of 668 MEX Pesos which is not equivalent to the first price! When I asked why I have to pay more the recepcionist woman said that her boss told her so! This cannot be! Also the swimming pool is horribly dirty and its difficult to open the windows in this tube-rooms because it¨s above and dirty with kinds of insects and so on,
