Tucano House was the best hostel we stayed at in Brazil, every day the staff organised activities for the backpackers. The hostel is beautiful, very clean, and the staff is fantastic. Esse é o lugar certo pra ficar! A localização é excelente, no centrinho da Lagoa, com fácil acesso aos ônibus que vão até as praias, e a pé para os bares, comércio e restaurantes da Lagoa da Conceição. O café da manhã é ótimo e todo dia tem um jantar pra integrar a galera... adorei!!!

This hostel is excellent with great facilities and a great vibe. It's clean, the beds comfy and the bar service is very good. Also, pretty good value evening meals, which are very social. I hate to say this, but the main downside were the Australian door assistants. Miserable at times, very unprofessional, and damn right rude most of the time, especially the female. Some of the worst staff I've met in hostels. At least the local staff make up for this as they are great. Keep up the good work!This hostel is excellent with great facilities and a great vibe.
