Don't forget to bring pans if you plan on cooking
The hostel is a nice place to stay, it is relatively close to the central station and to the city centre. The rooms are small, but nice and clean. It is possible to use a kitchen for preparing small things or warming up a meal, but not for cooking, because there are no pans, pots or plates. The best is the roof terrace, espacially with this beautiful weather at the moment. If I plan my next trip to Amsterdam, I will come back to the Tulipana.
A shared apartment, we had a good sized double room, with windows that didn't open, but we were warned to keep the curtains shut during the day and it never got too hot. Roof terrace on top was a lovely thing to have access to. Well located, close to train station, but not too far out of town.
The person met us at our arrival and gave us very good suggestions for food. Altogether a very nice room and good locks. Very close to the station. I would definitely return.
Place was perfect in every way! The rooftop space was the icing on the cake! Can't beat the location and very clean. Yay!
