Just expect power and water interruptions. Although they have a generator, they only use at night. Overall, I discovered a new home and will definitely go back there.

Didn't seem aware of our booking although the owner was away and the rooms smelt of mould, which was masked with room freshener. The electricity only was on for a few hours in the evening and it was out of the way. The staff were as helpful as they could be and I think Tuna Joes is not helped by its location (not near any restaurants or dive shops etc). There is a swimming pool on the roof, which is a nice cool spot to hang out and its run down feel means it is likely to have space short notice.

There had been a break-in the níght before I arrived due to the fact that there weren't any locks on the glassdoors to the room! Moreover it was far, far out in the middle of nowhere, 20 min walk to Puerto Galera.. I found another place!

A bit a walk to get to the hostel, because stairs and small path, but very close to the sea and nice snorkeling area. Cheap private rooms with double bed, cable TV and airco. Swimming pool available and terras with WiFi.
