I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe at this facility, there was a domestic disturbance a few rooms from me with a woman screaming she was being murdered and the police being called on 2 different occasions through out the night, i was in a female only area and there were constantly men of different ages walking around, being able to see right into the bathroom facilities. The wifi didnt work & it was very noisy and so overpriced for what it offered, i would not recommend this to anyone!

Was good to have my own room at a reasonable price. Would have rather not had the cockroaches though.

the bed was not comfortable, hardly i could get the internet wireless connection the building looked really old. it would have been a fair deal if i was paying 25$ a day for the room.

Public transport to the hostel is good although it is some distance from central New York. No. 4, 5 or 6 train should link up with an 'L' train to Broadway Junction. Outside the subway station, take a Q56 bus to the door of the hostel, around 10 stops away. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the gym and swimming pool are available to use at no extra cost. Good to patronise such a worthwhile organisation too.
