Two Ducks Hostel Reviews

Someone stolen my food from the refrigerator at the 2nd night.

There is a room wichone belongs to the hostel as well in a other street, so we had like a own appartement for us(just with two dorm rooms) The staff is frindly but the facilitie is very very basic, with a lot of borken things. But for this couple Euros per night is it okey. Cleanness is quite good.

horrible. that was the perfect case of 'get what you paid for'. just dirty with some people smoking inside, a girl in our room (should stay just we 5). the reception is another building and not the same as the people stay. no internet and nothing. we needed to find another place to stay, and we arrived late there! was just terrible. i think it shouldn't even stay here in hostel world.

Not as bad as the others reviews say, but the staff can be really rude and unhelpful

It was a great location, nice staff and clean hostel. Though It had a very narrow and congested facilities.

1) The kitchen isn't fully equipped (it depends on the apartment you stay in, in the first we spent one night there were only 2 pots, same plates and some plastic cups, there weren't even a kettle! 2) Instead of 8 sleeping places in 3 3-bed rooms (as we have booked) we got for the first night 1 6-bed room and 2 places in 4-bed room in two diferent buildings, for the next two nights we got 2 4-bed rooms.

Really awful hostel. No atmosphere whatsoever. If you're traveling alone you'll feel completely isolated. The only redeeming factor is it's price.

The hostel was in a great place and i really appreciated that. However, the hostel was dirty and it smelled bad. The staff was lethargic and not to helpful, but willing to help if you went out on a limb and asked them.

The showers smelled like urine. The trash wasn't taken out the entire time we were there. It had virtually no heat. The only pro to this hostal is that it's located near termini, but even that doesn't override how terrible my stay was. I just felt gross even walking into the place - it smelled funny. you know how they say that if you have a bad hostal experience, it could ruin your overall impression of a city? well, this is that hostal. DON'T STAY HERE!

The two ducks is not a hostel is a messy, dirty and really noisy flat. We paid for a three beds room with facilities, but we found an unclean and horrible four beds room without facilities and without sheets. The bathroom (outside the room) was really small. If you want to enjoy of your holiday, don't go to the Two ducks.

The "3 mixed dorm" of the website is a "4 mixed dorm"; they give you just a bedspread or a quilt (without sheet!!) whom they don't wash every host-change. The shared bathroom is window-less and fan-less, so pray to be the first user of the day... At the payment time please ask for the till receipt, otherwise they won't give you at all. It's alway the cheapest hostel in Rome but I suggest to spend 3 or 4 euros more/night.

a very bad experience. The hostel is dirty, very dirty. the toilette hasn´t door. very dirty. i think the price must be 2 euros for night, more is a stolen.

Has several locations near Termini station near Via Marsala, so it's fairly good place to start exploring Rome. If you book with them be sure to avoid shared rooms...we had no linen, no wi-fi , but we had bed bugs :-( Good example why you should spend few euros more for a hostel in Rome

We got given a four bed dorm when we paid for a two bed dorm and still had to pay the same amount

When arrived at the hostel we were informed that we were actually staying in a different building 10 mns walk away.The AC didn't work,with the windows open it was insanely hot, the noisiest street as right outside the station.Shower head broken,toilet didn't flush and the last day no toilet paper left.. But more importantly BED BUGS million of them,I can't even see the colour of my legs anymore as it looks like I've been shot for 4 nights with red paintball so unless you're in love don't book :)

Just one word: BEDBUGS!!!!

Booked a hostel with Two Ducks online and they gave away our room just because we were late to check in. Not cool.

....good location,free internet and they also have AC
