Two Ducks Hostel Reviews

Avisamos días antes que ibamos a llegar más tarde de los previsto por los cambios de los vuelos, nos dijeron que no habia ningun problema.Llegamos al hostal y no habia nadie en el piso, nos abrieron unos huespedes que casualmente pasaban por allí.Por lo poco que vimos, ni baño privado, ni nada, había dos baños y en ninguno de los dos funcionaba la bomba.En la mesa de "recepción" había dos numeros de telefono, llamamos y los dos estaban apagados.Vamos, una vergüenza.

two hostels is a sh*t hole. they cancelled on us two days before we arrived and when we tried to find the place to get our deposit back (which i still have not received). and within five minutes of being there we nearly got mugged. so stay away from this place. it's awful. a waste of money, seccurity and a holiday. DO NOT GO TO TWO DUCKS.

This hostel is terrible. Hard to find, horrible apartment, horrible staff, and very dirty.

First, it was difficult to find, better directions needed! Second, i felt unwanted, unwelcome and alienated, it is by far the strangest "hostel" i have been to. It seemed more like an guy just rented out a room in his apartment, strange... i got a bad feeling about it and decided to change hostel ! Nobody said hello until i did so, and when i asked about check in, the guy only say "after 2.30" .. unfriendly! if you want to enjoy Rome, spend 5 euros extra on something better.. not recommended !!!

when we arrived at the hostel i thought that we were at the wrong place, but unfortunately was the correct place. As it was almost 3 am we had to sleep there, but we didnt want. we really didnt like, mainly because i got bitten by bed bug in whole of my body. I can show that by picture. moreover, the bed made sounds as if it could break anytime, we paid for 3 bed in the room, but there were 4.

Hello, I am sincerely disappointed with you guys. do not understand how or why of your recovery rate of € 16 twice. Someone stolen my food from the refrigerator at the 2nd night.

You can\'t stay in your room after 10:30am.So bad when you are tired and need to sleep. Toilets to small.You are just about 30cm in front of your legs.No recomended for tall people. Showers to small places too. Too small appartement with 3 rooms and the kitchen is close to all rooms,then you can\'t sleep when some people in there talk too loud or listen music.Even the receptionist does\'nt respect the slaeeping of the others untill late in the night. So I don\'t recomend this hostel.

There is a room wichone belongs to the hostel as well in a other street, so we had like a own appartement for us(just with two dorm rooms) The staff is frindly but the facilitie is very very basic, with a lot of borken things. But for this couple Euros per night is it okey. Cleanness is quite good.

horrible. that was the perfect case of 'get what you paid for'. just dirty with some people smoking inside, a girl in our room (should stay just we 5). the reception is another building and not the same as the people stay. no internet and nothing. we needed to find another place to stay, and we arrived late there! was just terrible. i think it shouldn't even stay here in hostel world.

A few issues: No one was there when we arrived. Waited outside with several other people and were finally let in. -Shown to a room that reeked of cigarettes and was not the size we paid for/requested. We were given a new room about a ten minute walk away. However, the new building was clean, had a kitchen, was very quiet and is close to the train station. We were given both building & room keys. Showerhead was broken but had hot water. Overall a little sketchy, but cheap price made up for it.

Not as bad as the others reviews say, but the staff can be really rude and unhelpful

It was a great location, nice staff and clean hostel. Though It had a very narrow and congested facilities.

1) The kitchen isn't fully equipped (it depends on the apartment you stay in, in the first we spent one night there were only 2 pots, same plates and some plastic cups, there weren't even a kettle! 2) Instead of 8 sleeping places in 3 3-bed rooms (as we have booked) we got for the first night 1 6-bed room and 2 places in 4-bed room in two diferent buildings, for the next two nights we got 2 4-bed rooms.
