the hostel is located in the long street, which is really great! There are a lot of shops and bars near the hostel! Im not sure how safe it is in the hostel, because there are no safes and everyone can get into the hostel. And its not that clean though. I stayed for only one night and for that it was more than okey, but i can imagine if you want to stay longer, then you will find a better one:) i mean the staff is very kind and we had a great time, although it wasnt really not clean.

Seemed disorganized. No ac and was very warm. Great location. Seemed to be quite a few long term guests who just sat and listened to very loud music all day. An attempt to break into a secure locker was reported to me. An average hostel that was cheap and well located. Would only use as a last resort if I was in Cape Town again.

Well located, but that makes it also very noisy at night (cars and people). It is cheap, but that also means not always vere clean or no toilet paper...

This hostel was alright. It was in the middle of the centrum, at Long Street. This is a street with restaurants and ho(s)tels. Our private room was quite small. The toilets were sometimes a bit dirty. The staff was helpfull. For Cape Town, Value for Money was good here.

Your friends staying here might be playing music outside around 9-10 o'clock. Also had a snoring roommate. Male bed has really small room between your bed and the one above you etc etc. Location is close from the busy part of the city. Good if you are trying to explore the city vs. going to the mountain or beach

Was a Good place, quiet did not really meet any travelers , was lonely but good place with most facilities you need. Could do with extra cleaning in some of the showers.

The hostel is very noisy. The first floor is an on-going party that can last till wee hours. It would be fair to let everyone coming know about it in advance, as not everyone has to be that much fun oriented.

Hostel was in a great location as located right amongst the main nightlife area of Cape Town however can get a bit noisy on the night if your wanting to sleep. Dorm rooms are quite small but the hostel overall is clean and the staff are very helpful with things to do in the area etc..

We first arivede and the office guy was so drunk he didn't even no what was going on. We get to our room and it was so hot. Than to top that off there was a used condom on the window. The places was so dirty by far the worst backpackers I have stayed at and I have stayed in at least 45.

Dirty, unfriendly, unhelpful!!! This hostel is not full of travellers, it's full of local South African partying every night. The staff invite their friends and party till all hours the following day.!! DONT STAY HERE!!

Even though it was a slow check in process, the gentleman (manager) was extremely efficient and quick to jump on it. Very friendly staff and there was one gentleman in particular (on Sunday & cannot remember his name) who truly made it a special experience as it was my 25th! So for that Thank you. The facilities are nice and clean and for what you pay, you get a great location in the heart of town and a safe environment. Recommended! Thanks Two Oceans! :)

Although this hostel is cheap, it is simply not worth it for short term travelers. The atmosphere does not make you feel safe or welcome. One of the male staff members would come into our room each night at about 10pm to check how many beds were still available, very frustrating when it is hard to get to sleep. The rooms are small and there is not adequate space to store luggage. Bathrooms were very dirty, particularly the showers. Kitchen was continually dirty. Do not recommend staying here.
