Nice hostel. Very clean and modern and with excellent wifi. The rooms are also quite spacious and the beds comfortable. However, the heating is occasionally a little excessive if sleeping on one of the top bunks. I also think it wouldn't kill the staff to smile a bit more. A few were kind of friendly, but the others seemed a little indifferent and sort of aloof.

Possibly the best hostel I've stayed at. Modern, but with enough nice touches to give it character, good atmosphere, fantastic location and spotlessly clean. Two areas to improve - as per other comments there needs to be some system for collecting bags from the holding room, I walked off the street, asked for the key and got my bag not sure whether the receptionist recognised me. Also the kitchen is very small for a large hostel, only one hob! But otherwise excellent stay, thank you very much :)

In genenal is a good hostel, but it is the first one I've seen that does not have hands soap in the restrooms, it is a little uncomfortable go to the toilet and then realize that there is not soap available to wash your hands.

great, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent rooms - and beds, you ll love the mattresses! haven't seen a "cleaner" hostel yet. superb facilities, i.e. kitchen/cinema etc. breakfast is free - well kind of, for two slices of toast with jam and butter plus one glass of milk/coffee/tea, one euro gets you further, for three euros more you ll even get sausage and cheese.

This hostel was very comfortable with great facilities and with activities easy to join in. I met some new friends here and had a good time. Only detractors were a few strange people wandering through the common area and kitchen is not as clean or well run as the rest of the hostel. Showers and bedrooms are great.

One of the cleanest hostels Ive been to. Very nice beds. Some things that needs to be fixed though: The rooms where very cold, alternatively very hot. No soap to wash the hands with. The common area was a bit "too big" to meet people in.

First and foremost. the basic breakfast was RIDICULOUS. esp for the price i'm paying for. a guy next to me tried to take an apple after paying for the extra breakfast but was immediately stopped by the staff saying u have to paid for it. @.@ take a chill pill it's just AN APPLE. and he already paid for it. but i have to say they do have the best shower room among all the hostel that i've been to.

I enjoyed my stay there. I was able to change my room when I realised I had to sleep in a top bunk. They were more than accommodating. The location is great and it was easy to find. I would have to say the only thing I did not like was that it was a bit too cold at times.

I really enjoyed my stay at U hostels. It was comfortable and clean. The only thing is that there is no hand soap, which I found quite annoying, because it's not the sort of thing that you travel with. And the free breakfast is quite limited (2 pieces of cheap white bread and either orange juice or milk) still, iI guess that it's better than nothing. Overall though, I'd go back.

I thought that this was a great Hostel, it was the safest, best location, clean, and just a great atmosphere. I now have a higher expectation for all other hostels, and hope that others can be this good. It was great because there was a free walking tour which was amazing and made the value totally worth it! Strongly Recommend

I had a great stay in Madrid. I was only there for one night. The showers were amazing. The staff was helpful, but not outstanding, The general facilities were very nice. The location is amazing - right next to the metro station and plenty of great streets to walk around. It's a bit sterile feeling. I wasn't super pleased with the system for leaving baggage during the day. There's a room really close to the door, and the staff member at the front desk just gives you the key to go in.

Great place! One of the best hostel I've ever been. Great location, very closed to the underground station and just 10 min walking to Chuecha/Tribunal area (nice for shops and restaurants). Bedrooms and showers are quite cleaned and the kitchen area is really really nice and quite equipped. Very friendly and helpful staff. ...Pity that coffee is not included in the basic breakfast ;-) Thanks guys! Sara&Paolo
