Bobby is a very mice persom and helpful. She organized a tour to Terejil Park and picked me up at the airport as well. Nice people I met in Ulaanbaatar. Thanks a lot.

We stayed here for a short while but we had a great time since the staff basicly can arrange everything for you. Have to mention also that we had the best new year's eve here that we could've imagined with the amazing staff and amazing other guests!!

Nice location and avarage facilities ( kinda small kitchen and pretty tiny common room). Some of the staff was friendly, but some actually rude (don't know if it was because of some problems of their own at the time but still not very professional behaviour). -Trip to national park was kinda lame (if u know how to ride a horse, it might be better) -Buy tickets from ticket offices, not from the hostel ( they charge over 30% more, it's worth the effort)

Very safe and clean, but you cannot use the common room, because all the staff people use it.

I stayed here for a week and couldn't have been happier. The entire staff was very nice and worked very hard. The housekeeping crew put a tremendous amount of work into keeping the guesthouse clean. The tours they sell are a good value and excellent quality. Being in the tour business, I wasn't the least bit bothered that they were selling tours. At least I knew who I was dealing with. I can't imagine why anyone would have anything bad to say about the UB Guesthouse. Look at the price!

Very nice. The pick-up service from the train station is awesome, the Hostel is very clean, the staff speaks English well, the tours are really cool (although a bit expensive). The atmosphere is really good, it is safe and there is always something to do. Just great!

Good and cheap hostel, which organized a good tour around the Gobi. Just to buts: terrible internet and staff (except the owners) weren't to useful as every matter mas only taken care by owners which weren't always there.

Would be really nice to be able to wash ones hands in the (separate) restroom. When the hostel is fully booked, there is a separate flat next doors, where you may have to stay - fair enough, yet, there is very poor internet connectivity... we suggested a fix: wireless repeater. Otherwise a nice place with alert and helpful staff and jummy breakfast.

Getting to the hostel at 5am really tired and needing a bed didn't stop the staff here pressurising us into booking a tour straight away which was frustrating. They even told us that we'd have to confirm a tour by 11am or there wouldn't be any others. In the end we did a tour through Ger to Ger and stopped the chilled out Golden Gobi instead.

A very busy hostel, with people coming and going all the time. A good atmosphere and very easy to organise tours through the hostel and find others to travel with. We did the 2 day Terelj tour and would recommend it. Others who did the Gobi tour also had a great time. The owner Mr Kim is very efficient and helpful! Great bakery and restaurant nearby. Would recommend.

If you want to get a tour around mongolia and don't have time to waste on searching for other options this is the place to go to. Average hostel, but that's not why people go there

UB Guesthouse revolves around their tours and sometimes feels more like a place to stay before and after tours than like a regular hostel. Pros: Good location, good prices, good laundry service. Cons: Very crowded, no real common area, small kitchen - all in all giving a lack of atmosphere

This hostel is all about tour but the thing is I am very doubt if they are doing good with it. By the time I arrived their only concern was about my tour and almost forced and rushed me to join another tours alredy arranged. But at the end, I travelled in the small cars all four people stucking together and with the driver who doesnt speak a single English word thus of course no guiding at all. When I complained this to Mr. Kim(the owner) when I left, he seemed didnt care much about it...

Plenty of clean showers and toilets - such a bonus! Staff very helpful and friendly. They helped organise a surprise birthday cake and champagne for my boyfriend! They don't push their tours on you as we thought they would (which is good) but they were informative and flexible around organising a tour.

Being picked up at the railway station is really excellent. The hostel is run super efficiently and can arrange train and bus tickets and tours as you require. Laundry is done for you almost as soon as you want it although you have to hang it out yourself on your own balcony. Some people find the direction a little pushy although we found them very helpful and efficient.

A good place to stay to organise a tour. Lots of traffic. Rooms fine but bathrooms could be cleaner. Did a 4 day tour through the guesthouse. Good for a budget tour.
