UB Guesthouse & Hostel Reviews

I woke up with some bed bugs bites. Not many but there are definitely some around and I can't in all consciousness recommend any hostel with bed bugs. It is run by a Korean couple. the wife is friendly and helpful but, sadly, she doesn't stay most of the time, leaving the helm at her very rude, unfriendly and uncooperative husband, who doesn't make much effort top hide his total lack of interest in helping out. Positive notes: location is good and it's safe,but definitelynot a first choice in UB

The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that we were out of toilet paper so often! Other than that, good value for the money. They were GREAT in helping me with my tour and orienting myself. Thank you.

Bobby the owner was very attentive with any help and tours, she does her best to unit your needs. Totataly recommend this hostel.

Staff were great and very helpful in organising tours outside of UB (very cheap as well). Despite our stay being well put of peak season the atmosphere in the hostel was fantastic as well.

IT IS LOOK LIKE STAY AT THEYR HOUSE, IN FACT IS A GUESTHOUSE... THE STAFF VERY VERY VERY FRIENDLY, HE WAS ATING LIKE A DAD!! AHAH THE HOSTEL HIMSELF IS NOT REALLY NICE, GOOD LOCATION THO... I`LL RECCOMEND THEY LET U FEEL AT HOME!!!

I recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to UB. The staff are incredibly helpful and go well out of their way to make your trip enjoyable (thank you Bobby). I will definitely stay again.

The staff were fantastic. - so friendly and helpful. This, combined with the great location of the hostel, really made my stay in Ulanbaatar more enjoyable and much easier.
