When we arrived they told us that all the hot water in Ulaanbaatar had been shut off for the week. Everywhere, they said, even the 5 star hotels. We went to several other places and learned this simply wasn't true. The common area is far too small for the size of the place, and on the 4 day tour we booked through them, the horse riding portion turned out to be just one horse for 11 people (seriously). Not sure why this place has so many good reviews. The staff is friendly, I guess.

Was much better than I expected. Clean, centrally located hostel, with friendly helpful staff. I would stay again. The mark up of train tickets bought through the hostel was quite high, if you have time, would be cheaper to arrange train tickets yourself. But otherwise, very good hostel

The hostel itself was nothing special. I went to a trip organized by the hostel. It was nice, but at times seemed to be poorly organized - not enough beds in the ger etc.

Bobby is a very mice persom and helpful. She organized a tour to Terejil Park and picked me up at the airport as well. Nice people I met in Ulaanbaatar. Thanks a lot.

Brilliant english speaker staff. They wrote us and organised a free pick up at the station at our arrival. Then they organized 1$ per person transfer at our departure. They can organise several kind of tours around Mongolia at fair prices. Really very helpful. Rooms are not magnificient but definitely ok.

We stayed here for a short while but we had a great time since the staff basicly can arrange everything for you. Have to mention also that we had the best new year's eve here that we could've imagined with the amazing staff and amazing other guests!!

Nice location and avarage facilities ( kinda small kitchen and pretty tiny common room). Some of the staff was friendly, but some actually rude (don't know if it was because of some problems of their own at the time but still not very professional behaviour). -Trip to national park was kinda lame (if u know how to ride a horse, it might be better) -Buy tickets from ticket offices, not from the hostel ( they charge over 30% more, it's worth the effort)
