Place was amazing, however the kitchen was closed past 10pm and held my burger hostage all night! Had the drunchies when I came home and needed some food!!!

Pros! All in all I was pretty happy with my stay! Facilities are lovely, loved that there's a hot tub and sauna. The cabin atmosphere is great fun too. Cons! The walk to the bus stop is understated. If you're carrying gear it's a real hassle! The security isn't awesome, particularly as there are no doors to your room and the lockers are not big enough for a full size laptop. I didn't bring one so it was no trouble for me but if I had all my worldly possessions with me I'd be worried!

The UBS Lodge was comfortable, and close to the mountain. As a snowboarder, I would have liked to have somewhere to wax my board. The hot tub didn\'t seem to be maintained well while we were there (water was low and slightly brown), so I decided not to use it during the stay. The location is up a hill from the main road, which is an easy walk down to he public transportation, and a longer walk back up. All-in-all, a decent place at a good price.

We were at Whistler UBC Lodge for one night only. It was alright, we didn't really spend time at the Hostel since we were so busy with skiing ;) But it appeared quite clean, staff was OK, nothing to complain about. And the beds were really comfy after a whole day on the slopes ;) Its location is not directly in the village but we had car so this was no problem. There is also a bus going to the village and a taxi is just around 10 CAD.

While this hostel is not far from Whistler, it is tricky to get to using public transport because the 500m walk from the bus is uphill... which is hard with luggage. The hostel itself is fun. It has good facilities, and feels a bit like a cubby house. While it is advertised as a 40-bed dorm style room, these are sectioned into 4 bed mini rooms (with a curtain not door) which is not as daunting as I first imagined. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Very unorganised when we arrived, but the hostel is in a great location and the stay was pleasant enough.
