Very tiny, and the characteristic oriental smell... But it was in the very central point - very close to main attractions!

The trouble with this hostel is that it is very difficult to find. Better signs in Chungking Mansions would be better.

my booking via hostelworld.com split me to 2 diffenrent block (A & C) cause me get cheat & being move to other block & make my friend very unhappy & lost my 10% deposit. The place i moved in block A 11 flr not what i expected as show on the web site. The original Block A 3 flr person incharge then call me & inform me that i get cheatted. We then stay in original block A 3 flr for the rest of our days stay in HK.

The location is great and the staff (it is owned by a local family) is extremely friendly and helpful. They wer great for advice about how to get around the city and what to do.

My stay at UK Deluxe hostel was short lived, but proved to be a very intresting experience. Located alongside many other hostels within a single building, there is much people and activity within the vicinity. The rooms are modest of and expected of a budget hostel and the staff were extremely helpful in greeting us at the airport bus and helping us find the hostel in such a busy area. The greatest asset of the hostel is the location as it is within the heart of city. Intresting memories forsure

There's accommodation located in different parts of the huge and labyrinthine Chungking Mansions, which means that you might end up having a room in a corridor without any common space for socialising. Although cabinlike in size, the rooms are fine and quite clean. The staff are OK, but be sure to keep track of your 100 HK Dollar key deposit which they will make you pay, because they won't give the money back to you at the end unless you ask for it and show them the receipt they give you.
