I've never seen an hostel as dirty as this one. This is a shame. During our stay (4 nights), we had never seen someone clean something.... Please go somewhere else and save your money!
Not sure what I expected, but I was very disappointed. I arrived here after a very rainy journey from Nara. The owner is a bit strange and awkward. He barely spoke to me even when it was just us two in the hostel. Dishes were dirty, shower was dirty, and he got flustered when I asked why he was using a blow torch on one of hte best in the other room. I think there was a mold infection? I cant confirm, but I think a group of girls left because of that
The shower room should be always spotless, not with old dental floss around... You should be more relaxed, I think it was obvious you are going through a tough time and are probably a very good host. I hope you sincerely get better.
Not as good as what it is looked in internet..
I loved the location, only a few blocks from Amemura and Shinsaibashi. And also right by 2 subway stations. My stay was very comfortable. The staff was a great help and very kind. The directions from the station were a little confusing, but it was very easy to find.
I can only recommend this hostel! When we arrived, we were about the only guests, so it was like a whole apartment only for us. Masa is really friendly and helpful! The location is perfect; it's only a few minutes away from American Town and a few more from the real Center (Shinsaibashi and Dotombori), but the distance is enough so that there is no noise at night outside. Masa, thank you for everything!
The hostel has a great location, right next to lots of bars and restaurants and next to the Metro station. The hostel is in essentially in someones house and is a quiet without much opportunity to meet other travellers or make food. However there's no curfew and in a good location so if you're using it as a place to stay at night its perfect.
Great little guesthouse (actually a transformed apartment) in a super cool part of Osaka, surrounded by the famous shopping areas and more unique, independent designer stores and cafes. This place is tiny, only fits about 9 guests at a time, so it's a great little space to come home to after some Osaka fun. Extremely personable and run by an amazing if not eccentric dude, great wifi and a clean bathroom - you'll feel like you're at home.
cool location near hip shops and restaurants. 15 minute walk to all the nightlife. Very very small hostel. beds are comfy. owner really awesome guy, super helpful and knowledgable. 0 atmosphere though so if your by yourself not good for meeting people. only holds 12 or so if you are in a large group you could have the place to yourself. all in all a fairly decent hostel.
Pros: Great location (a 15min walk to Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi/Ebisubashi for food and shopping, 5min walk south to Tachibana-dori/Orange Street for shopping, 5min walk east to Amerika-mura for shopping). 1min away from Floresta Donuts which sells maybe the best donuts I've ever eaten. Very clean. Has wifi and a computer with internet access. Cons: Small hostel, only one toilet and bathroom for about 10 people at maximum capacity.
The location is excellent and security are good. The local police are just across the street. The hostel itself is very small and cleaning fridge and kitchen area every week would be a good thing, otherwise we enjoyed our stay. regards Bjarke and Suzanne
Located in a small apartment very close to a subway stop. This place was very clean, the owner was friendly, and it's in an excellent location for exploring Shinsaibashi and Namba.
