A very warm and cosy hostel to stay in Osaka centre area, close to shopping districts and night life while being quite in the neighbourhood. The owner is extremely nice and helpful, he has kindly prepared ice water and fruit for us. Beds are very comfortable, even more comfortable than my own bed back home! I will definitely recommend UK Osaka to everyone travelling to Osaka!

A bit small perhaps, but helpful owner, and nice location in walking distance of many active districts (nights and days).

I enjoyed my stay at the UK hostel. It was great and would always like to go back if I have enough money to go back to Japan Osaka. Thank you for the accomodation that UK has offered and I would reccomend this hostel to anyone who ever ask me about a place to sleep in Osaka. The place was near Americean town so it was really great. Once again thank you for the confort and great atmosperethat you could give.

The location was great if you are wanting to spend time in Dotonbori, which is the reason I chose this hostel. Also close to the subway which. The guy who owned the apartment let me use his phone. There is only one shower/toilet, towels were 500 Yen to hire (usually 100 Yen on average), everyone got a nice bunk except me (I got a mattress on the floor) and I just felt that for the money, for a mattress on a floor, I could have stayed in my own room somewhere else in Osaka (like my friend did).

Another excellent stay at this well run backpackers. Masa (owner) is always welcoming, speaks good English and is always very helpful with his local knowledge and directions on how to find places of interest. Always a great stay at this place. Best location.

Very nice! If you had to stay somewhere in Osaka, THAT would be the place. Location is very good, the staff is so nice, very clean, etc. No doubt this has been my favorite place so far for my Spring Break in Japan.

Very good location with a nice host. However, you should keep in mind that there is only one shower, so you sometimes have to wait some minutes. If you want to arrive before 12:00, you should contact Masa beforehand. We forgot to do so but found some nice other backpackers who let us in to leave the luggage at the hostel.

UK Osaka is in a great location, and has a terrific host in Masa. He is eager to help in any manner possible, brings food to share with guests, and is very friendly. I would definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to my friends who want to stay in Osaka.

Stayed at UK Osaka for two nights. Location is perfect, and the building was surprisingly easy to find. It's practically one minute from Yotsubashi station, so you can get anywhere easily. If you're into going drinking/clubbing, you can just stroll into Namba and go anywhere you like. Still, the apartment was very quiet at night (no outside noises or anything). I was the only guest, so I can't say how it would be with more people, but I got a good night's rest.
