I cancelled this hotel December 11th. It took several emails though to do it. They never would confirm my cancellation. I just kept sending the same email with a note that all other cancellations confirmed but I never heard from them and sent a cc to Hostelworld. It was very irritating as well with Hostelworld that they only sent AUTOMATIC responses telling me to arrange with the hotel. I may never use Hostelworld again, it was a bummer for me.
