Good place to stay if you want to be in Hollywood. Friendly staff, decent kitchen, free wifi and lots of tours and activities on offer. However could do with a communal bathroom or two, as waiting for a shower in the morning was a bit of a pain. Would stay again.

Very well ran and clean hostel with great features. Only problem is it is very noisy at night so don't stay if you want to sleep!

Would rather they spend more money on cleaner sheets and less lumpy pillows. Other than that 10/10. A+++ Will lodge again.

Overall the hostel is great. Great dorm, kitchen and location. There only suggestion I would like to give is please provide a carpet in front of bathroom in each dorm so that there will be less"dirty wet footprint" created around the room. .

Eventhough its located just a few dozens meters from Hollywood Blv, the Schrader Blv itself feels a bit dodgy. Its 10mins walk to metro. Staff at reception are very kind and informative, but since there are many people staying, cant spend that much time talking to you; but they allow you to print a few pages for free! Wifi is free as well. You can have pancakes for breakfast. Hostel organizes a lot of trips around LA. My room, 8-dorm/4bunkbeds was so-so-spacious, with lockers and personal socket

As an avid traveller who has stayed in 20+ hostels I have to say, I was impressed! The staff are extremely helpful, helping me by printing off maps, telling me the best things to do and even helping me find a place to stay in San Francisco! There is loads of activities on such as free hikes, cheap bar and the location was only two blocks away from the subway, making it really easy to get around- this is honestly the best hostel I have ever stayed in!

I love that this hostel is located right next to Hollywood Boulevard, walking distance to everythnig. The staff was hit or miss for me, some were very helpful and cordial, some looked bored and a bit rude. The hostel is quite noisy, even at 1 or 2 am. The rooms in the back are definetely quieter. However, it's kept clean, facilities are decent, beds are actually quite comfortable, individual lights and plugs are great and the breakfast is pretty nice for a hostel. I would recommend it.

The private room was in the worst location, you pay a lot for a private room and you don't expect it to be situated next to the bar and stairs. Good hostel but dumb room locations. So hard to get any sleep.

Some staff were a lot more surly than at other hostels I've stayed at. Tours and excursions almost every day are a plus, and they turn the lounge into a bar in the evening. Lockers with power points are a plus. Not exactly a stand-out hostel, but it's functional.

Stayed here for one night at the end of my trip and was really impressed, about 100m from Hollywood Blvd which has heaps of bars, clubs, food and tourist attractions. Theres a cool outdoor area you can drink and eat and they had a free BBQ . Decent sized rooms and a great atmosphere. Free pancakes in the morning as well!
